To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

no you will get auto denied
Well you are right to some extent. But what if it's a CDMA phone where they can't find or will have problems finding the IMEI number? You think they will auto reject those?

So I order the A32 as an upgrade on line A, but I want to use it for line B instead, do I just move my line B sim into the A32 and turn it on? I guess after I do that I can then do a "change SIM" and switch to the new R15 SIM?
Yes not a problem at all.

Yes, they will give you prepaid label to ship your old phone back. I can tell that it is the same prepaid label T-Mobile use.

This is my opinion and I could be wrong here. I did several trade in promos with Costco and they asked for IMEI. I think at that point it might check for promotion eligibility. When they entered my IMEI, the system showed detailed info such as model, color, memory size. This is why they don't need your old phone before they approve promotions. I have a few international phone that T-Mobile couldn't recognize on my account. I don't think I can trade those phones in at Costco. If I want to trade those international phones, I would try my luck at local stores and pay $20.
If i have already phone in the order, do you think i can cancel it so that I can go to Costco and do it to save shipping and get prepaid cost to basically offset tax and more?

The shipping label is tied to the IMEI. I haven't attempted to switch to another IMEI. Maybe talk to tforce on Facebook ?

I had the same issue and the best one I found is using the first 14 DIGITS only of the MEID and entering those numbers to this calculator:
https://www.imei.info/calc

(Make sure you use the DEC MEID this is Numbers only... not alphanumeric)

This Calculator will then give tyou the valid 15th number you need to complete the IMEI conversion. I then plugged the 14 MEID and the 15th # from the calc on the TMO website and it Validated.

I did this for 3 Boost CDMA phones.
Is there a way to verify that this method will pull up the correct phone on their system? Is their an online checker to see if a IMEI number corresponds to what phone?

I don't know if you can cancel your order. You definitely can try but I think your phone was already shipped. You might want to ask yourself if it's worth the hassle.

Edit:
I just tried this with a Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2. Using this method gave me a valid IMEI number but when I input that number plus the last digit back into this website it pulls up a Samsung Stratosphere phone. So i guess using this method there is a risk that when they receive the phone they won't be able to verify that it corresponds to the phone because it shows up a different brand/model.

There is no "better" deal. It all depends on your needs or intention. Are you an Apple person or Android person? Do you need this as your daily phone or are you looking for a phone to sell? Do you just want a cheap backup phone?

The mini is a much more "usable" phone if you are an Apple person, if the screen size is fine with you. It's basically a 12 in a smaller form factor, but it will cost you more money.

The A32 is a budget phone but it's almost free (except for tax, possibly shipping) so who cares. It would be suitable for a backup phone, phone for someone who doesn't care much about phones or you don't mind if they lose or break it (elderly, child, etc). It will have almost zero resale value (especially after this promo) and no trade in value.
Yeah, that was what my thoughts as well, thx for the reply

Went to the store; they couldn't find my ancient Tracfone in their "approved" list, and they wouldn't bite on "Generic Tracfone". Could find a model number one off from it, but no cigar. They said I had to call.

I called time 1. Took info, but couldn't find the phone. Waited 15 minutes for him to fornicate around and look it up, still looking it up, hold on looking it up, and his final answer, "The phone you trade has to be TMobile phone." So I hung up. Another 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Called second time 10 minutes later. Very competent lady answered and fixed me right up. Of course, who knows when the phone will get sent.

If you can easily cancel it, I would try. Costco actually ship their phones from their own warehouse. They might still have A32 in stock. However, you can't backordered at Costco.

So I have an s7 edge, cracked on my line, but I have a crappy LG cheapo $30 undamaged from a prepaid EBay deal. Y'all are telling me I can trad e that POS for an a32? Could I give the a32 to my dad to use as a YouTube player, and keep my s7 on my line ?
