To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

I went in-store to do an in-person trade-in to avoid any trade-in disputes, only to find out they're backordered and will have to do a self-shipping trade-in...

I really hope they go easy on these trade-in verifications... or if they deem the trade-in phone to be invalid, at least offer an opportunity to send in another device.

edit: considering how hot and popular this deal/offer is, I'm just curious, are they really going to have employees cracking open thousands of phones, many which are mostly crap and junk trash, but still "work", to validate the promos?

edit2: i guess like some other poster said, they could have simply given these outright with 2yr credits, save themselves the trouble of the trade-in. But perhaps they implemented a device trade-in requirement on paper, but couldn't careless what they end up getting.

True...
But there are too many whining folks here hijacking this thread and cribbing about "I still don't see unlimited data in my cheap arse Simple Choice 2GB plan"🤦 ♂️
They should start a septate thread for data discussion and leave this thread alone for A32 or iPhone-12 devices!!!
How do you "hijack" a thread that was originally about both topics???

Looks like you enjoy watching 3 different and unrelated shows simultaneously sharing the same stage?

I just did the same deal as you are trying to do. Yesterday, I went on Twitter and chatted with a T-force rep. I told the rep I wanted to do the iPhone 12 upgrade deal by trading in my 11. I told the rep which line I wanted to use for the promo. The rep had me first pay off the EIP balance on my 11. The rep then had me select my preferred iPhone 12, pay the taxes on it, and then sign the new EIP documents digitally. I also asked for the assist fee, overnight shipping fee, and sim fee to be waived, and it was approved by the rep. That is it. The deal was done. There is nothing else to do or request. I will now wait for a billing cycle or two to see the changes take place on my account. The 11 will be moved to account level bill credits, and the 12 will show up as an active EIP on the line that my 11 currently occupied. There is no need for me to ask a rep at this point to make that happen. It will happen down the road. I hope this helps.
Thank you. "The 11 will be moved to account level bill credits"..... this happens automatically? I thought bill credits are completely lost once EIP is paid off.

Tmobile 611 refused to "move the bill credits to the account level" in order to accommodate iphone 12 trade in. How did you do this?
I never call 611 or ask someone to move my bill credits to account level. It's all systematic process. Once you have you have your bill credits confirmed and receiving each month, you are safe to pay that off. You can go ahead and order another phone under that line. I have been doing it for years, zero issues getting my bill credits applied on my account level.

Again, the process is systematic and does not require TM 611 customer service's involvement at all.

Do you guys wait until you actually receive the new phone before sending in the traide-in phones? I'm looking at the label, and it shows that the label will expire 30 days from now, but the phone is back ordered and won't deliver until maybe may 10th....
If i send it in early before i get the phone will they confirm that they receive it and everything will be good with the trade in? TIA!

I have 11 pro 512 gb. I guess not worth paying off the $400 pay off amount on this and then another $200 for the mid storage size on the Iphone 12 with trade in.

I have XS paid off and the $415 trade in credit is only covers half the cost of Iphone 12 so not worth it here too?
Your XS is worth ~$300+ if you're up to selling it yourself on Swappa/Craigslist/OfferUp. Do that, go get a ~$100 iPhone 7 for the same $415 trade in value and hopefully net ~$200 compared to trading the XS in.

WHOA. Mind blown.

Then what is there to prevent doing promotions with bill credits EVERY time? Why wait 24 months?

You need to wait 24 months to receive your bill credits, not sure if I am following you. TM does not require customers to pay the EIP off early, it's totally optional and it's required if you want another phone. And remember, some accounts may have credit line limit. For example, mine is about $5k. Some new accounts have less than $1k
