I bought these just before they were posted last time. Unbelievable how much quieter they are than the default on the evga closed loop. Zero temp difference but it went to being nearly silent even under stress. Quite pleased.

Which closed loop do you have? I have the EVGA 360 right now and the fans are terribly loud. I've been contemplating upgrading them, but hate to due to only buying the EVGA since it was on sale for $100. I just don't know if these are the best fans for my application (360 is exhausting out top) or if I should pay another $20-$30 and get something better like Noctuas, even though I don't think they're "that" much better.

These are some of the closest competitors to Noctua at normally 1/3 the price. This is an even better deal.

Arctic's P series fans are amazing. All of them are quieter than Noctua or nearly all competitors when output same airflow, plus usually much higher pressure. Usually unless you do need more airflow, there's nothing beating these.
The only thing I have better is Sanyo Denki 9S series, but that's industrial and you do need to make plugs out of them.

I needed fans, and ended up buying these at the sale price last night, but that estimated shipping date is making me too anxious.

I have these fans on my Fractal Design Celsius S36 on a Ryzen 3800X. They are so quiet that I hear the chipset fan over everything else. These are my go to fans for static pressure and their F series fans for air flow. I have some regular Noctua fans and the 3k industrial ones too. I have switched them out for these fans (F and P series) as needed.

Everyone's build is different. If you're worried about noise they make special rubber fan pins that minimizes vibration and helps with hard to reach places

I would not worry about delivery showing May. 99% of the times, I have seen the delivery date promoted to a significantly earlier date. Amazon provides very pessimistic delivery date. If I see it cannot make it in my desired time frame, I will just cancel the order. Purchasing from amazon is as hassle free as it can be.
