50-80%....That's the old warehouse. Better quality control and insane deals.

Other than frivolous stuff like cell phone cases, I don't recall getting a deal like that for about 3 years. And these days I find that about 25% of the stuff I get from the warehouse is broken, wasn't tested, or missing stuff....really annoying because lots of times it's not even worth spending the time to return.
10% not enough incentive for most stuff. The warehouse price for used or returned is only a couple of dollars/percentage off from New with no original warranty and no guarantees of condition.

The previous 20% off used to have a few things worth looking at.
I buy stuff from Warehouse when I don't care about a warranty. For example, I recently bought some household cleaning supplies in "like new" condition. Nothing wrong with saving a few dollars here and there.

Not enough incentive. Warehouse prices should be 30% off but it's more like 10% or more and by the way... you pay taxes for most states shipped to!

I've bought a couple warehouse deals and they gave me a hard time for returning them. A CD player that didn't work and they wanted me to pay to return it. I had to speak to 3 or 4 people to get someone who could give me free return shipping. I just said it's not worth the hassle.

Also their idea of like new means covered in dog hair and/or stains. Definitely not worth the risk for home goods.

Does amazon ban people for too many returns? What is "too many"? I bought like 6 things that need to be returned (out of probably 20 or so things). Am i safe?

Amazon warehouse deals for the last year have not been very good. I find many with problems like holes or broken in some way though marked condition as very good or like new. I've just returned them. I wish their returns would do a better job documenting the problems. It is such a waste of time/money in shipping and return.

We bought a $159 dehydrator for $100 and it was in the original box and looked great, and works perfectly.

I've been a prime member for about 10 years. I probably returned less than 10% of the stuff I ordered when I first joined. These days I'm returning 40-50% of the stuff I order because Amazon has become hot garbage in recent years.
I have never once thought that they would ban me for my returns. They're legitimate returns and not my fault they have shit quality control.
If they did ban me I'd probably laugh and say good riddance. But it would also be stupidly easy to start up another account under a different email address.

In my experience, amazon warehouse deals come through more often than not. But its still a gamble. Is it going to work perfectly, is there some problem I wont see until its too late, will the manufacturer honor the warranty.... etc. If you are getting a good discount, its worth rolling the dice.

But I dont think its worth rolling the dice at these prices, 10% off isnt helping much either.

Really, I think we should avoid buying during this 10% off sale, and hope that Amazon realizes that 10% off isnt enough.

I believe if they ban you, they block your mailing address, IP address, credit card(s) on file, etc.. so it won't be easy to create another account. If you have a 2nd address for delivery (office/relatives) might not be an issue; otherwise seems like a big hassle to me. Also, they'll cancel any gift card/credit balance as well as music/photo storage as well.

Less percentage off but actually items of interest this time... Decent trade off. Usually with the 20% deal, there isn't anything eligible that I'm actually looking for. Also, I buy from warehouse ALL the time. As someone else said, there are deals to be had if you know where to look... And I mean killer deals.
oh and most of these items are still brand new... like not even factory packaging broken. They have morons working there. Most of the time it works in my favor, but sometimes you get something that someone there should have caught, but that's what the returns policy helps with.

I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon Warehouse Deals. Most of the things I have received were open box items and damaged box items, and products were new. I have only returned maybe 4 or 5 Amazon Warehouse Deals items over the years and that number is very small compared to how many items I have bought from them.
