Tuned, probably. If he hasn't had it tuned in years, that means it's going to need a large pitch raise, this means you need several successive tunings to get a stable sound, and it won't last nearly as long as a regular tuning. Each tuning is $150. And because it's probably never been serviced, it will need a full regulation (lubrication, key action adjustment), that's $500. It's not practical unless he's serious about piano. Acoustic pianos need 2 tunings a year so that's $300 a year. Then there's the fact that if the owner never bothered with humidity control during the winter months, the tuning block may be dried out or the bridge may be dried out, this happens alot in forced air furnace homes, so.... yea, people just don't know, or they don't care. Wood is very delicate especially since the piano is under so much mechanical tension.
Piano salesmen don't care, they have to eat, so they'll sell to anyone, but as a piano enthusiast, I always tell people unless you're serious and ok with the high upkeep cost of acoustic piano, just get a digital.

Amongst other synthesizers I have this digital piano. This is by far the best you're going to get in the price range even at full retail price so if you want a digital piano hop on this deal now

Mmm.. anyone looking at this deal, it's an instrument, and pianos are highly personal, really give it some times, and go out to try out other brands and models. No rush, this deal comes back several times a year. Hopefully we see $300 at some point

At this price point (again even MSRP) nothing touches the Korg in sound fidelity, has really nice speakers and piano multisamples. Keyboard action very nice as well.
Good deal, it seems like anything with a brand name, 88 keys, and weighted keys under $500 is a pretty good price. We're trying to get my 10-year-old something that will make him more willing to practice (ie convenient) so he doesn't have to use the old, mistuned console piano in my WFH office
So I'm finding it hard to believe this comes with the pedal and stand but the photos show it. Do we know that it does? Buying it as a gift for my nieces. And I know Adorama is impossible with returns.

It does not come with a stand. If you want one, you'll need the B2SP model.
Hmmmm.... not liking that they show it with the stand then. Seems like bait. Nowhere does it say it doesn't come with the stand that's pictured. I ordered one for me. Ordering another for my nieces. Now I might have to go $599 for the stand and three pedals. Damn it.
