I have over 100 switch physical games, and have lost two copies of this game. I don't even know how, I'll take it out and switch it with a different game, and bang. Gone. Guess I should grab a copy now just in case I lose it again
This collection is good for convenience and collectors. These 3 revisions of these games on the switch does not look as good or perform as well (30fps vs 60fps) as their modded Wii u counterparts.. the previous console with much older hardware running better performing and higher res versions is a reflection on Nintendo's understanding of what their eager-to-pay customers will pay full price for 🤦🏽

Or maybe they purposely kept them at 30fps to replicate them as they were when they first released. Would make sense considering they made no changes to any of the games. These aren't remasters or remakes, nor were they advertised as such, they're straight emulations of the original games with all their flaws intact.
People keep complaining about "game preservation" but when a company actually does it, suddenly there's outrage over them not changing the games. Seems to me like people just want to complain about anything.

Could most people really tell the difference between 30 fps vs 60 fps in these old games?

Nintendo stopping the eShop sale of this title is in line with preservation?
WiiU running same titles in 1080p 60fps opposed to 720p 30/60fps is also in the name of preservation?
Nintendo Apologist please queue up to continue to open up your hearts and wallets to your saviors (-_-)=b

Vendors don't pay Nintendo or earn their share for digital codes until it sells, just like all gift cards.

Exactly. These will be unsold copies and price will crash after initial crazy. This is overpriced to begin with- just like the Mario game and watch
Yes. It's a noticeable difference when timing jumps etc
