They jacked up the price for black logitech mx keys (Windows edition).

Was anyone able price match to other competitor and then applied the coupon?

Update : Called for price match. They said they ended price match last September.
For anyone who's considering buying the MX Master 3 in Space Gray, it doesn't come with the USB dongle in the box. It will work with one but it's not included.

The "Space Gray" variant is actually a "MX3 for Mac" and it's assumed you will be using it via bluetooth.

The black version will have an USB unifying dongle in the box but Staples raised the price to $109.99
The Apples mouse is so not ergonomic and painful after several hours of work. I use only MX Master mice for productivity. I have no idea why Apple still makes and people still buy their mouse.

Which MX3 color works for both windows and Mac?

They all do. All colors are bluetooth.

I have this one. Great mouse.

My only gripe is that the vertical scroll wheel is a little annoying at times. It goes into a free spin easily even with the magnetic step.

If you accidentally free spin it and hold down Ctrl for anything like copy or paste, you'll most likely end up zooming in/out. I accidentally do this at least once a day.

Also to add on to what you said:

1) The same goes for the MX Keyboard. If you get the all black (PC) keyboard.. includes the USB dongle (aka Logitech Unifying receiver) and icons for both PC/MAC on the keys. If you get the space grey (MAC) keyboard.. it doesn't include the dongle or any PC icons on the keys.

2) Why is the dongle important? Because it uses a dedicated bluetooth channel. Which means it is much responsive as its not fighting with other bluetooth channels/devices for bandwidth. It also means no setup. Plug it into a device and any Logitech stuff preprogrammed to it will work automatically out of the box.

3) I've also found it to be worth every dollar anytime I have reboot my M1 Mac Mini.. as any other Bluetooth device will not work until AFTER logging into MacOS. When using the USB unifying receiver the Logitech connected devices work regardless of the computer state. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to reboot the M1 Mac mini.. and lose your bluetooth connectivity.. which meant in the past having to go find a USB corded keyboard.. then unplug one of my USB device (webcam or smart card reader).. and plug in the USB keyboard.. all just to log back in and finally use my wireless keyboard & mouse.

Yeah I'm having the worst Bluetooth issues with my Mac mini as well!!!

You can buy one of the "USB UNIFYING RECEIVER" (from their website) from Logitech for $15 and it'll work with ALL of the MX Master stuff in the Logi Options software.

I've lost that part before, I actually found it cheaper just to wait for a deal on a mouse that includes it. You should be able to it for a little more than just buying the receiver alone.

I use one USB receiver on my Mac, one one my PC, and I connect to my iPad Pro via Bluetooth. Very convenient. You can get the dongles on Amazon for like $10 as well.

A mouse isn't just a mouse anymore...not everything apple is the best, either!

I'm an absolute outlier on this but I've tested way more mice than anyone ought to, and the Apple mouse (and Microsoft's modern mouse) are my production go-to's. Anything chunkier feels like I'm slinging a paperweight around.

have you tested both mice? would like some empirical data that backs up your suggestion. genuinely curious.

i hope it's not simply coming from a place of "everything apple poops is gold"
