Sony has reduced the price of this TV by 300 $ from the original price of 2469. It is not as good as Thanksgiving which was $ 1969 but none the less a good discount.

Obligatory consumer information:

Currently this TV does not do 4K120 (instead it does 3840x1080 and then upscales) and Sony is being deliberate unclear whether it ever will. So if that specific feature is important to you, caution.
Costco specs say 4 x HDMI 2.1 ports. In reality it only has two, and one of them is also eARC. So if you want to connect eARC audio, and an XBOX, and a PS5; you'll be a port short.

Only regret I have is not spending the extra $400 to get this instead of the 75". Best TV I've ever owned all across the board

Also this price at Best buy, but highly recommend you just spend the $60 on a Costco membership for the warranty.

Only complaint is related to Android TV. It updated and now shows ads at the top of the main screen. Have to manually unimlnstall daily even though auto update is disabled. Tried another launcher but the remote buttons are mapped to the default so does not really solve the problem and probably the behind the scenes data collection b.s.

Finally talked myself into it. Anybody have theirs yet and experience mounting with eglf2 or eglf3? I like being able to slide laterally a bit with the eglf3 but I like more weight margin with the eglf2...

Wall mounted it today and it is beautiful right out of the box. Gonna mess around with the calibration tomorrow but I have zero complaints from GT and the tv itself. Hard pressed to find an 85 inch that looks this good for less than 2k.

I have to say, I absolutely love this tv. Someone should "unexpire" this deal because it's still this same price at Costco. Perhaps it's been out long enough that this is not the hottest deal anymore but I highly recommend. Am the owner of a 65, 75 and now 85 in this model. We primarily use them to watch YouTube TV (felt comfortable turning off cable tv and trying it for a while). All hard wired via Ethernet but WiFi worked ok for the short time I tried it with each.

JUST FYI, the costco guy helping me with this tv showed me on his computer screen that they will clear it out to 1999 on 6/13...We should be able to get a price adjustment?

Anyone else having very frustrating issues with this TV and Sonos speakers (Arc and sub)? Every few days the TV won't be connected to the speakers anymore and I'll need to do a reset / unplug of all the power and HDMI cables...
