Our Casper felt fantastic when new. Was ok at 6 months. Terrible at 1 year, which was last month. No support and hard in the divots where we sleep. Nice in the middle though. Gave it away. Just bought an Avocado mattress. Hope that this mattress lasts longer.

Your "advice" doesn't apply to 99% of the population. You know, normal people who just want to buy furniture, not build their own. You make it sound like its easy but there is nothing easier than just buying a finished product that you can immediately use

I've had my Casper for about two and a half years and have zero complaints.

Any idea how the Casper Essential mattress is different from the Casper Select they sell at Costco?
The Essential is essential meaning you need it, and the Select is the one you actually have to choose.

JK the Select has 4 layers, same as the older Casper original, also 12". The current original is 11". The Essential is thinner at about 8.5" and having 3 layers doesn't support as much weight.

This one however listed as 11" I guess means they updated it from 8.5" to 11" which I find odd. Amazon questions also have conflicting answers..

Just got two at my local Sams Club. It was painful though. The instant savings didn't come off at the register so they sent me to customer services. Was ringing up for $389 - the price tag on the shelf was $449.

After half an hour they figured it out and manually had to price adjust them to $309 each. Thanks for the post!!!

No wonder I'm having the same trouble online.. I'm just going to buy and do the same as you, thanks.

Same experience with a Leesa mattress. Constant lower back pain. Thought I should have bought a Casper, but it seems like the same problems. My previous mattress was a no-name memory foam that had the same issues. Going with an innerspring next time.

Bought this a year ago, and it is just ok. I don't really care for it. It is not a memory foam mattress, it is just foam, which I don't care for. I ended up adding another memory foam topper to make it usable. Depends on what you like.

The Casper Select at Costco is the same as the Original Casper (12in, 4 foam layers, removable cover). The Essential is probably comparable to the Casper Element, their lower end model.

Is the price on the king showing up at $574 - $80 = $494 for others?
Is the additional $80 taken off at checkout to make it the posted deal of $414 for the king?
Apologies if I am missing something.

$414 only shows up if it is available for pickup in your local warehouse(s).

Looks like the $600 Costco Casper Queen is 12". Don't know about the quality difference. We bought the Costco one about 3 months ago for our son and he loves it. We just bought another one on Saturday for the guest room and I'm also trying to find the differences. There's certainly a big difference in price.

I got a Casper Queen mattress back in 2015 and am still using it with no issues. I would grade it as fine, probably a B. No gonna blow the doors away but its decent.

Looks like you have to buy it at the store. If you order it online first, you may have to cancel the order when you get there and buy it in the store to get the discount.

You called it, I've been waiting here exactly 30 minutes and after a lot of back and forth exchange they just said I had to purchase online for the wrong price, and they'll reimburse me at customer service after. I told them ordering online would only let me select next day as earliest pickup, but they said they'd do it immediately. I don't know why they can't do it on the spot but whatever..

Edit: 10 minutes later, as I thought the order doesn't show up until next day. They gave up and said it's too much hassle, askede to cancel the order on the app, and simply... SIMPLY punched in a manual override, which took a few seconds. THAT WAS SO FUN!

I'm wondering if pricing error?

DP 3 for adjusting price. Picked up outside, got the receipt, saw it still charge 389 for the queen. Went inside, she processed a return/exchange with the 309 price.
