There is good reason it looks the same. Hart is owned by TTI. TTI brands include Ryobi, Rigid, Milwaukee, Oreck, Dirt Devil, and etc.
Yes but this one has more HART and soul.
Decent price to be in the HART walmart only ecosystem. Their tools seem significantly cheaper than the competition (looking at their blower/trimmer combos that also come with batteries). The 2 battery slots seems cool but its only to extend the battery it doesnt increase the power. How much work is it to walk back to the garage to get the next battery?
Like the 5 yr warranty....
Just to add, this looks like a great trimmer to go with it:
Comes with another 4ah battery AND its attachment capable so you can add a blower or edger etc. and you should be set having 2 4AH batteries for swapping during long jobs.
Wow this looks exactly like the older ryobi mower doesn't it?

I didn't know that. I have the 40v brushless ryobi mover and the expand it trimmer/blower/edger. Works for my .2 acre plot. No messing with fuel / oil.

5 years is definitely nicer than 3. I am curious how warranty service is for Hart products. I know with Ryobi, I can usually just take it to Home Depot (granted you have to put down a deposit). It beats having to track down a service center.
I'm pissed that I missed out on that $200.. 2 battery Greenworx 19in mower from woot last week! Anyone have a decent alternative? it must be 19" or better because I have a big yard. Thanks

The only thing I can find that is a decent deal currently is this HART model and the KOBALT from Lowes
I've got a Kobalt twin blade battery mower from Lowes. I'm not sure I'd get another. I have 4 batteries ranging from 2-4 amps. I've already taken 2 back to them because they wouldn't charge after a year. One battery only charges 25%, one charges up to 50% to 75%. I take good care of them and haven't been hard on them (don't leave them hooked up to the charger longer than it takes to charge), and seems like they all just break over the years, and cost a fortune to replace.
If not for the batteries crapping out, it would be a no-brainer.

I manage 10 different properties and the 40v system has been great for me as well. Just have to be conscientious that it's not commercial grade and not rag on it. Expand it powerhead is a champ.
I have the step up from this mower, with the self propel and it is great, I have a 1/4 acre and I finished my lawn with a but of charge to spare. going to get the 15in brushless trimmer though. Worth the extra coin from what I hear.
