With that said, I would not expect it to be 2.0.
She just sent me a check for $150 to spend on whatever I wanted because she gave her granddaughters the same to buy clothes for their new jobs after graduating college. I told her it was not necessary and she said to spend it on whatever I wanted, so it is coming right back to her because this is what I spent it on.

I'm honestly curious, what do you need HDMI 2.0 for in a basic off brand 1080p TV?
With that said, I would not expect it to be 2.0.
if you're worried about compatibility with a hdmi 2.0 device, then it'll be fine. it's limited by the bandwidth (the "weaker" of the two, which is the 1.4).

Jvc is just a name any more. In the past 5 years 2 different manufactures produce TVs with JVC on them.
Does not matter as it's 1080p
