The 5ah battery is gone online so unless you can find one in a store don't expect one

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank bababoi

Just to add some personal experience as I have bought this exact promo:

1. As for lug nuts, I have two cars which I've personal torqued with torque wrench to 76 ft-lbs & 83 ft-lbs. These came off without any problems with the 2Ah battery fully charged.

2. If you are looking to sell the 5Ah battery that came with it, know that ebay is flooded with them right now since this is not exactly a new deal. And the most recently sold/completed ones seem to go for ~$50-60 when I last checked which still makes this set a pretty slick deal.

3. There are not a lot of tools for dewalts 12v line. There are some of the basics like power drill etc. Although dewalt announced (?) a new version of this 12v subcompact impact wrench that is supposed to be rated at 450 ft-lbs breakaway though who knows without actual testing.

4. There is a project farm video that compares a handful of subcompact impact wrenches and this exact dewalt model came in objectively weaker compared to Milwaukee's & Ridgid's version of subcompact, so if you are chasing that maximum torque this may not be for you. Link: https://youtu.be/dsZSg_aiNUE

Overall I am very happy with this purchase as it suits my needs perfectly. Would I have preferred a stubby? Sure but not for ~$200 when I got this dewalt for half the price...this is not even counting selling the free 5Ah since I really don't need three batteries. But again I just don't need that much torque so ymmv.

I believe price is reduced because the replacement model DCF903GJ1G1 announced in February 2021 will double tightening torque to 250 ft.-lbs. and breakaway torque to 400 ft.-lbs. https://www.dewalt.com/products/p...cf903gj1g1

Lots of good points there. However, base on the information provided by torque test channel. New Dewalt 12v impact wrench beats m12 stubby, not by alot. Intrested to see what else (if) Dewalt plans on releasing for their 12v platform.

just to add, the ridgid subcompact is still 18v. so the bigger battery can get in the way.

Love how the "free gift" 5AH battery is only available via "truck delivery", which costs 70$...

Considering Milwaukee costs $299 and Rigid is an 18 volts tool, This Dewalt does not look too bad.

Im waiting more powerful one. For installing the deck, the 12v might not powerful enough for fastening on the concrete

You can purchase the items in-store and do a pickup at a later date on the 5ah battery. It's what I had to do. The receipt will show that Lowe's owes you an additional battery. I was told that the distribution center for my area showed 3,500 in stock, so I just need to check the web site for it.

I get "This fulfillment option is not available for the item(s) below. Please select an available option, or remove the item(s) to continue." for the 5amp battery. Guess they ran out

I just changed from shipped to home to pick it from store and it went through for $99 and I just gotten an email saying they will send me another email when it is ready for pickup.

Looks good!
