My card was 'charged' immediately and received the same AMEX Confirmation Email, but since the dell 'charge' is just a pre-authorization, it dropped off and the AMEX credit never posted.
It only posted after Dell properly charged my card when the computer shipped. I then received the AMEX credit a few days after that.
So yeah, if it is shipping within 3-4 days then you shoiuld get the credit. If not, your credit won't post. Up to you if you think you can fight them on it.
I then tried to cancel via Chat, and of course it says "We're sorry, but chat isn't available right now. Please choose a different contact option or try again later."
Not happy with them at all...I wish I had seen this earlier, and I'll hope to give this and other comments about Premium Support more visibility so other people do not make the same mistake that I did.
It was 65$ worth of add on that where subscription based. He gave me a coupon/email to reply to AFTER I get the product. Email will refund me 50$ and unsubcribe to the offers.
Rather lose 15$ than lose the entire deal.
Try again someone will definitely help and answer
Not counting $100 costco coupon because there is also the $100 Amex offer, both of which not everyone has. So $640 vs $900.
900÷640 = 1.40625
Anyway. Dell has been having one of these sales every week or so. Different configs for different prices. Optical drive or not, 8gb vs 16gb ram, 1650 Super or 1660 Super or 2060. No matter what, they've all been good deals.
Give it a bit of time and you'll be kicking yourself for being a moron and spending $500 over actual cost
