I got the size B. I'm 5'6". It's perfect for me. Most comfortable chair I've sat in. Comfort has two meanings to me: long term sitting without pain; cushiony and soft. As a task chair, this comfort is about long term usage in a day and will not make you feel any urges to move around or hurt you. Meanwhile at work, I have a cushiony chair which will hurt after a while.

I got mine fully loaded for $400 used and like new and I'd buy another one.

My configuration was:
Titanium Base + White frame
Medley feather Grey
Full Adjustable Arm
Translucent 2.5 wheel (hard/carpet)

Lowest quote was $1000 + $88 tax in NYC....it was low enough for me to not even bother negotiating.

What made you choose a titanium base for the extra $$$? For me, I just hate seeing dust collecting on black base.

I didn't like the look of the black base with white frame and I don't like polished metal, either lol!

I suppose you have a good point about dust. I imagine the titanium will show it the least.

Yeah I also didnt want the polished metal so went with titanium base...it will definitely show the least amount of dust. I currently have all black with mesh chair from Knoll....just hate seeing dust everywhere around the mechanism, wheels, etc....another reason why i went with translucent wheels...lol

Same... I actually have a black Aeron. It looks nasty with all the dust. Great chair, but it hurts my back so I'm hoping the embody will last me.

How did you end up negotiating? I physically went there today and asked if they at least pice match. They didn't want to answer that question, which led me to just not even asking how much they'll sell a fully spec out model.
