You are kinda correct. Apple targets 34-35% gross margin, retailers target around 17% (amazon), 15% (Best Buy, walmart), Costco is around 8-12%.
Tiger is a distributor, not retailer, its margin is lesser. I doubt $733 is cost for them. Probably some price table misalign when somebody uploaded a file with product price update in their ERP.

I chose ground shipping. And apparently it's super slow ground via FedEx. Ordered Tuesday 4/27, shipped out Wed 4/28, arriving Wed 5/5. Going from Cali to Florida.

Anyone else thinking of just ordering the same laptop with 16gb ram and 512gb SSD and doing a chargeback for the difference from the sale price? Then just say customer service is sorry about the canceled ordered and told you to place it now that the item is back in stock and will honor the previous order price.
