Vendors, such as Costco or TD, probably got their inventory at $800 or $900. So selling it at $730 does not make sense.
It is probably an error. They do not have to honor it.
Hope you at least got a good deal on that tinfoil hat you're wearing.
Same here

Do you not get how things work? Slickdeals has nothing to do with Tigerdirect and they did not "allow" anything to happen.
Since it seems like you are new here, most deals are posted by random people who happen to find something they deem worth sharing. Some are posted by SD staff members but the OP is clearly not staff.
You are saying you have an "authorization" on your card and that is not the same thing as a posted transaction.
In some cases, merchants don't even bother doing anything with authorizations because they don't count towards your bill and will eventually disappear on their own if the merchant does nothing. If your billing period ended today, you don't owe anything for this transaction unless it has fully posted. I've had authorizations on my card for as long as a month before they finally disappeared.
Also, it can take 3-5 days for refunds to clear if you actually were charged, so if by next week, you still have an actual charge and not just a pending authorization, then you have a reason to complain.
Going by the 3 upvotes you got on your ridiculous comment, it's evident that anyone with common sense has left this thread while the few of you here are still complaining about things that will get resolved in the next few days.
Crying "scam" just because your pending charge didn't immediately disappear the second your cancelation email hit your inbox just makes you look like you really have no idea how anything works.

Take a chill pill dude ... been a SD member since long and have truly enjoyed deals SD members have posted and shared... in this case though ... just google them and see how TD does this all the time ...it's bait and switch ... and I am complaining because it happened earlier on surface deal also and it's been >4 days since I got cancelation email and I still see cc charges ... it's a crowd sourced forum and if lot of people are complaining about this again and again ... it should be looked up ... and instead of people shaming ... TD should focus on their faulty inventory management system
