Zenith TV's were definitely not "cheap junk" back in the "old days". It's when the name was taken over by a low end company (and it was no longer a "Zenith" product) that the quality went way downhill!
In the real "old days", Zenith was a very high quality product.
The problem with these "brand names" (like "Westinghouse" for example) is that they're not really a "brand name" product anymore but many people still think that they are!....and end up with junk!
Insofar as Adata SSD's are concerned, they're generally fine (especially if the price is right).
This is exactly right. I spent most of my childhood watching a Zenith Console TV. At one point it took a direct lighting strike and while the repair man was there he was chatting with my grandfather about how they just didn't make them like that anymore. That TV was made in the USA, in Ohio, iirc.

Amazon has it as the same price, and much faster shipping. =/
Sorry, newegg. I do miss the love we used to share back 20 years ago!

Seems like the Crucial MX500 is the best deal for a 2.5" w/ DRAM?

This may not be important to most people. But someone mentioned in other post before....
Samsung 870 Evo 1TB is rated 600 TBW (Terabytes Written) which is measures of the endurance of flash storage. While Crucial MX500 1TB is rated 360 TBW.

Depend on your usage, you may never hit any of those before replace/upgrade your drive.

The Crucial 1TB X8 also works with the code. Beats the deal I posted last week or so ago as long as you don't have to pay sales tax. Otherwise it ends up being about the same as Adorama.

Still lookin for that hot 4TB sata deal. The 870 QVO would be fine but I'd like it closer to $300.

So I guess you didn't see the WD 4TB for 314.99 a few weeks ago? I caught it with a deal alert set for 4TB SSD with any rating.

That IS a huge difference, but looking at Samsung Magician, 360 TBW would be 103 years for me at the rate I'm going. I like to double up SATA SSD's in RAID 0 these days and I think that should double their endurance, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yup there hasn't been a good sale on the 500GB models for a while now. Hoping we get a sale on one soon as I don't need that much storage for a boot drive/os drive. 500GB is the sweet spot for me.

Partition 240gb for the OS, and use the other half for high speed storage!! It's-great-for-that!! I do this on nearly all my rigs, it's sweet, and easy to do!!
