around for years, and it's good as new, plus there's

besides, most rolled steel comes from china these days
so this rei tumbler is from the same source, only with
more design and quality control specifications.
look, i get it... every other thread on SD degrades into some don't buy china squabble, but when will you people wake up and realize most of the name brand stuff is from china anyway, not just because it's cheaper, but because usa's manufacturing base is gone.
"pillow guy" mike lindel was on jimmy kimmel just last night and admitted he can't make many fabrics he wants in usa anymore because we simply don't have the mills up and running to make them. so downvote me all you like, i'm just posting an inconvenient truth.
While I don't care about the origin of my products, let's not pretend your Aldi cup isn't a product of lower quality reverse engineering.

Bad link Website shows regular price.
I tried their competitors, which were also much cheaper, and havent had that issue. More specifically camelbak and their insulated bottles.

The camelbak has been reliable for me the past year or so

i'm drinking my ice tea out of one now that i got from aldi's years ago.
the few ice cubes i put in there are still clinking around 8 hours later.
so all you are paying a premium for is marketing and a pastel paint job.
6 usd for a tumbler of this quality sounds like a cheap knock off from China.
