Lol, this is what people said when the original ATV 4k came out. Fine if you are willing to wait 4 years, but by then you'd be saying the same thing about the chip in it.

That doesn't mean that another new ATV will be released with the new chip. The A12 is likely enough to handle anything the Apple TV can do for the next 3 years.

I'm waiting on my two orders (2x32GB and 2x64GB) to be fulfilled. Used a $100 off $500 coupon on the 32GB order. Contacting customer service to see what's going on would be an invitation for them to review it and possibly cancel the order when it didn't really need to be. Maybe there's not enough stock right now and CSRs are being encouraged to weed out orders.

Not saying that's actually what's happening here at all. Have just found over the years that the more eyes are on an order, the less chance there is that it'll be successfully fulfilled. Especially if coupons, etc are involved.

Agreed. I also bought a few Apple TV's and used the $100 off $500. Not going to mess with it. Will give it a little while.

Mine said it shipped last night but delivery is estimated for next Wednesday? Seven-day shipping? My order says "Delivery Delayed" on the Costco site, though. And I've NEVER received a single coupon of any kind. Yeah, all CAPS, bolded and italicized... I'm pretty salty.

I went ahead and bought a 32GB directly from Apple since I cancelled Netflix and no longer need so much 20% discounted Apple gift credit from the holiday deals. Really like it. No issues and the remote is great. The clickiness I'd been worried about doesn't bother me at all.
