LOL, that's a poor comparison, these days Hyundai is more reliable then Mercedes.
I agree mostly. I bought both the AllClad copper core set for $1499 and this set for $219 in 2016 to compare them side-by-side, tried both sets for a month, and returned the AllClad set because the Cuisinart MultiCladPro set works 95% as well, the pans are actually thicker so they not only retain more heat but also are less prone to scorching delicate foods, and the handles are WAY more confortable! The AllClad handles are very sharp on the sides and dig into your hand/palm when the pan is even half full of anything. When they are 100% full and you try to pick up any pan or pot the handle digs into my hand so hard it feels like I'm doing pushups on a butter knife blade and the dent they leave in my hand proves they are not ergonomically designed. The Cuisinart handles are pretty comfortable (far better than AllClad) but not perfect. The only thing that would make the Cuisinart handles better would be if they copied the Analon Copper Nouvelle handles which are the most comfortable handles of all. Unfortunately Analon's stainless steel pans are nowhere near as good as these because they are way too thin which causes pretty much any food to scorch so please don't make the same mistake I did buying the Analon pans first because those are a waste of money, and so is AllClad at $1499 compared to MultiCladPro at $200. I bought a 2nd set of these in 2018 for my friend who cooks a lot but can't afford to buy a good set of pans and she said they work as well as the AllClad copper sets that were provided in her cooking classes. I also bought a 3rd set for myself as backups if I mess up my 1st set of these because sometimes I sear steaks at very high heat with the 10" skillet and I've heard that the layers could separate if the pan exceeds 500F. I sear steaks around 600F every few months and still haven't noticed any hot/cold spots yet in my 10" skillet after 5 years of use so I highly recommend this set over any other stainless steel set because of the incredible value for the money, being only 1/7th the price of AllClad with almost identical performace!
I bought this set in 2012 and have regretted it zero times.
It's All-Clad without the brand name. Highly recommended!

I bought this set twice for $150 to $200 range. Still have one unopened set at home. Anything above $200 may not be a deal though. Never knew it's list price was above $600.
I bought a set of these several years ago and they were great.
Sturdy, easy to clean and I never had any issues with anything sticking.
I gave them to a friend when I moved and still miss them.
May have to pick these up.

Do a simple Google search so you can verify this fact for yourself. The All Clad Copper Core is significantly thicker and heavier than the Cuisinart Multi Clad Pro. I am not sure why you would make a false statement like this, when it is so easy to verify. The All Clad Copper Core is a much heavier and thicker pan, you can feel this as soon as you pick it up.

Why is all clad so praised ?

Much of it is because it's made in the USA and a lifetime warranty provided. Have heard that warranty is not the best. Cuisinart is worse though based on the reviews. I got this one as its my first set and I want to try out the difference from cheaper and nonstick pans to stainless steel. Would rather destroy this set than a much expensive set, All Clad is on sale recently.
