I got a bigger set but also from Circulon from Costco a few years back.

They are the BEST. Period.

The nonstick coat are still the same after 3 years of rigorous cooking. I used the metal tong to stir fry stuffs countless of time and the coating are still intact.

The stuffs heat up nicely and evenly.

We love our Circulon Infinite pots and pans. It's worth noting that the Elementum line offered here is not dishwasher safe and will not work with an induction range. If those two things don't matter to you, you won't be disappointed.

Ah too bad. Was gonna jump on this or the ones at Costco but your post about it not working with induction saved me a return trip.

edit: Costco site says "induction ready?"

I've tried finding a good non-stick option and so far the best I can come up with is to buy the cheap restaurant non-stick pans at Sam's Club and just replace them more frequently. From the cheap sets all the way up to All-Clad and Hexclad there are several negative reviews about scratching, losing the coating and just not being non-stick. The alternatives like ceramic also don't seem to deliver on the promise of being non-stick.

Just have to baby it. I'm sure most of those reviews are user error much like how you can also find negative reviews on cast/stainless being too "sticky".

Hi soultar1, I did not delete or edit their comment. I see stailcookie did edit their original comment though.

I have a set of Circulon pans I bought from a Macy's SD years ago. The coatings on some of the pans started to fail last year and a quick call to Circulon with some photos and I received replacements with no hassle. The guarantee is quite good.

Better deal present in Costco as well
Also, the Costco set is induction capable. This set is not.

I have the Costco set, the only drawback of the set is the outside paint will get scraped off if you look at it. So if you're anal look elsewhere, also wish it didn't have the grooves in the bottom

If you want truly nonstick, just buy cheap ones each year. They will all lose their nonstick, it's just a matter of time.

You can also get somewhat nonstick from well-seasoned cast iron. It's not completely nonstick, but definitely better than stainless for some things.
We've had our Circulon Infinite skillets for 8 years and they are still holding up well. Are they as non-stick as they were when brand new? No, but they're still better than any cheapo non-stick pan we've ever had.

The Costco ones are dishwasher safe and induction ready. The Elementum on this thread are not. I bought the Costco ones yesterday and will send my old set out to the outdoor kitchen.

But if they're not really non-stick anymore, then what's the point? If I want something that is *mostly* nonstick, I have cast iron that will last a lifetime. If I don't need nonstick at all, I have triple ply stainless. If I'm going to reach for nonstick, I *need* it to be nonstick for something like light and fluffy eggs. And paying under $10/pan for some cheap nonstick that lasts a year is the best way to do it, at least for me.

The point is, they're 8 years old and I can still make eggs in them for TWELVE dollars a pan. I've got an extremely well seasoned cast iron that doesn't hold a candle to my old circulon. If you'd rather spend $80 over eight years so you can make the first egg flip without a spatula, have at it.

I'll settle for paying less than a dollar/month in order to make ridiculously light and fluffy scrambled eggs. But that's just me.
