5000k is great for the garage or shop, looks terrible on a house.

Anyone know a comparable light that is 2700K? (i.e. warm white)
This one has 3 settings, down to 3000k. It's fairly cheapo, but I had a hard time finding anything that gets down to 2700. It's slightly larger than a standard round junction box, so probably better for flush mount, but mine is under an eave so I decided to live with it.

I want a 3000k version too, so as not to annoy my neighbors.

The lowest I can find is ~$37 on Amazon.
If you're not in a rush, Costco on and off will drop the price of this to $30.

All these new led lights must be cheaper when they are 5000k+. Seems like this light would be better 2700k-3000k, with the more yellow side of spectrum. Seems like bright motion sensor at 5000k during the light is likely to annoy neighbors.
Maybe that's the idea....
Get back at them for their loud parties and/or their dog visiting other people's yards.

5k all the way. I've never once noticed my neighboor's lights, why would I, I stay inside after dark and if I go outside for something I'm not starring at their lights. Unless its pointing into your house or living room, I have no idea why people are hung up on this. I'd be perfectly fine if all my neighbors lit up my cul de sac so no one snoops around.

Thanks OP! My current light flashes like an uneven strobe every once and a while when triggered. I didn't know if it was a wiring issue, or an issue with the light itself. But for $22 it's worth replacing with this one. Thanks!
The LED driver is defective, or you've got them connected to a dimmer switch.

Awesome, thanks! Its definitely not on a dimmer, so it must be the driver. I really appreciate the advice! Smilie And the new light just showed up today.

is this dead? or is it only for prime accounts.

I bought one from my prime account and clipped the $10 coupon. Went to my other (non-prime) amazon account and couldn't find the deal anymore

I bought this, hoping to install it under my eves @ my driveway. I could tell that it would not light up the area the way I wanted it to due to its construction. I put it on my back porch (wall mounted) and it works great. Lights up most of my back yard. Much better than the light I had there before.

Thanks OP.
