Cricut Backs Down, Will Now Give Existing Registered Users Unlimited Use of Their Cutting Machines

In a statement released today, Circut promised existing users unlimited lifetime use of their machines. The policy extends to anyone else who decides to buy one of the machines throughout 2021.

Although they backed down, it shows what kind of company they are. This isn't the first time they tried to lock down their machines. Maybe some day they'll pull the trigger and screw everyone who bought a Cricut.
I strongly recommend getting a Silhouette instead of a Cricut. Silhouette never tried to squeeze blood out of their customers. And their software runs offline, so you can always use what you paid for.
