Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

Maybe they will have a similar deal for Father's Day? It's a toss up with T-Mobile. I wasn't expecting them to allow an 8 to be traded in since the last deal that expired required an 11 for a 12.

I would expect it more when the newer iPhone comes out in the fall, didn't expect it soon soon after the last promo. I almost traded an 11 for a 12 on that promo

I'm sweating bullets. Purchased an iPhone 8 on Swappa for this morning and don't have access to the imei. I go to my purchases go through details and it's not there. I tried to message the seller but no response yet. I messaged Swappa and they said "Enterprise Sellers don't have to provide IMEI when selling phones". FML.

I had that happen last week for the last promo.

The seller said he couldn't getting me the IMEI right away since he wasn't in the office.

I asked a few other sellers if they could provide the IMEI AFTER purchase (which is seemed to annoy the Swappa staff).

Bought another phone and the IMEI was provided immediately as the seller said it would.

Ended up getting a refund on the first purchase.


Question is now do I try to return the 12 Mini I got last week and do this promo instead??
