Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

Snagged an 8 at a local reseller for $200. Drove 3 miles to nearest T-Mobile. Out the door in 15 minutes with no issues. Account is already updated online reflecting the correct monthly credit.

Most phones like iPhone 8 have these indicators since they were not waterproof by design. And a lot of sellers replace the screen with an aftermarket one, which means the stickers are missing most likely. But the ones from MicroCenter do have the stickers and the LCD screens are original ( some light scratches and regular wear&tear). Very happy!
I feel more confident with iPhone X and newer since they don't have LDI sticker if I am not mistaken.

I guess I can't take this promo with my old t mobile plan. I have family time basic plan and iPhone upgrade is showing an error to call their customer service.

I guess it's time to change my plan to the latest. Any advice on migrating to newer plan from old one?
