Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose
Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.
For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

They are wrong. Your shit can even be carrier locked, just not flagged stolen or financed.

Really, I could get full trade value even with back crack glass? Should I go to the store or over the phone for trade?

I guess I can't take this promo with my old t mobile plan. I have family time basic plan and iPhone upgrade is showing an error to call their customer service.

I guess it's time to change my plan to the latest. Any advice on migrating to newer plan from old one?
Send a message to T-Force on Twitter T-Mobile Help. I was getting errors but they could get my order through. They have done that twice for me. Or, you can just call them also.

I just did trade in in-store. When checking my T-Mobile account, I didn't see the promotion and credit applied. Can I see it right away or wait for it until next billing? Thanks

Takes a few hours. The EIP was instant. The promo credit showed up after 2 hours.

Got a text a few hours ago confirming trade in is complete and monthly bill credits for this promotion. After that I looked and the account showed my monthly credits .

In store is definitely the way to go!

Does anyone know if the iphone 12 can be paid off in full after receiving it? I just got a new credit card and need to spend $$ in 3 months.
I'd wait until the first credit posts and pay it off after that.

Any good case suggestions for iPhone 12 please?

TIA.
I've been using a basic TPU one for my iPhone 12 mini from Amazon by the company called "YOUMAKER" (I know... nod). There was a deal on here about them selling for as low as $2 and this is how much I paid. Those for 12 / 12 Pros are now selling for $7 and I am going to pull the trigger (unless there is a deal on here for something cheaper).

I bet this will trigger an avalanche of comments about protecting your $1000 phone with a $7 case but I don't care laugh out loud

Are you sure? Is that in writing anywhere in the terms?

Can anyone explain the math behind this deal? This is the first time I do a payment plan for a phone.
So let's say I'll sign the 2-year payment plan for iPhone 12 for $830, which means I'm supposed to pay $34.59. With this promo, T-mobile will give me back $830 in bill credit during those 2 years. But they'll give me the trade in credit first, for example, $381 for my iPhone 11 pro max. And the remaining $830-$381 = $449 will be credited back to me within 2 years. So, in the end, the phone is free, right? (not included tax)
