Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

I'm thinking of trading in my iPhone 6S for an iPhone 12 Mini. I'm currently on a family plan with a family member. If somewhere down the line my family member wants to cancel/find some other phone plan, would I be able to switch my plan to a pre-paid T-Mobile Connect plan and still get the credits for the phone? I'm wondering if I should make the switch now, knowing I might potentially have to pay it back later. Any advice for me? Thanks in advance!
First answer is NO!
Second answer is prepaid plan not eligible for the offer.

Thanks, I figured as much but wanted to check. If my family member decided to cancel their part of the plan, I'd probably change my plan too so it's probably not a good idea for me to go for this deal right now... as much as I'd love to upgrade my 6S to a 12 Mini.

Anyone else try to order the 128GB Mini online and be asked to pay $49.99 down in addition to the tax?

Did you pay the sales tax on $200 or is tax included in that amount?
I'm pretty much sure local MC will charge me NYS tax on top, if I decide to buy.
it is $200+ tax

I did not know there are specific plans eligible for this promo. After I logged in T-Mobile and clicked "upgrade", it says "you need a compatible plan"?

I am not seeing the correct monthly payment after credit is applied for iPhone 12 Pro Max 256gb after iPhone XR trade in when ordering through app and online. I am seeing $13.71 recurring payment for a total of $329.04. They are also asking for $302 upfront. This brings the price to $1461. The price of the phone $1199 with my local tax at 8.5% should be $1302. That's a $150 difference. Is anyone else seeing this?

Just traded XR for purple IPhone 12 for Mommy's day. There is a $20 upgrade fee however still worth it since my XR battery life was terrible.
Did you happen to use aftermarket chargers? I bought a few when they were released for family and they are still in the lower 90% of battery life

NO. i just went costco (phx , az ) asked them about this deal, but rep told me they don't do it, told me go to tmobile store or online
I went to the Costco mbile kiosk on Thursday night and the best deal they had for iPhone 12 models was the BOGO 50% off deal. I don't know if they had not been told about this Mother's Day promo or simply won't be offering it, but they didn't mention it on Thursday.
