Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose
Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.
For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

They do not charge the $20 fee that a T-Mobile Store charges. No sim fee either which is usually $10.

They have the phones shipped to your place. You also have to shop the device that you are trading in. They do not shop it out for you. That's a risk since we have to send it through the post office.
So when trading in at a T-Mobile store, do you give them your old phone directly at point of sale, and take the new phone there at the same time?

So, I want to make very sure I understand. Scenario is, I have a phone whose trade-in value is listed at $830. Presumably at checkout for a basic 64GB Phone 12, I'd just owe state/local taxes on the price of the iPhone. After this, I'd be getting back the value of the trade-in via bill credits, right? Which in the case of the basic iPhone 12, would essentially mean my monthly bill would be the same as it is now, since the value of the credits would equal the value of the device exactly. But if I wanted to sell or gift the phone and still have it work on a different account or wireless carrier, I would have to pay them what's left of the $829.99 sticker price of the iPhone 12, correct? Say I could get $700 for the phone (you will not get sticker price even if unopened, I'm just making up a number now), which I decided to sell a month in (so $30 or something of the balance will have been 'paid off' by the trade-in credits already). I come up with the sale price + $100, pay off the device. But, I continue to get the Recurring Device Credits: in other words, $30 off my monthly bill for the next 23 months, in exchange for my current phone + $100 + taxes on $830. Did I get that right?
TForce twitter team agent said NO.

Here is my situation on my line. I got the Iphone SE for free offer back in March with monthly credit. But I paid it off in full thinking doing so will qualify me for the Samsung Galaxy A32 for free with monthly credit with trade in of any phone offer. Today I paid off $282 for the Samsung A32 thinking it will allow me to qualify for the Iphone 12 promo with trade in of my Iphone XS. All three promo on the same line. I won't receive monthly credit on my account for the Iphone SE & Samsung A32?

I asked Tforce agent today and he replied NO

"I completely understand where you are coming from and do see you were correctly enrolled in the SE promo. However, currently, there is a new promotion on the line that involves Monthly recurring credits. Back on your conversation in April, I do see where we specifically informed that if we stacked another promotion on this line these credits would be lost. This is part of the terms and conditions and applies to any device promo that operates on recurring device credits"

when we ship trade in devices, do we need to send charger cable and charger brick? Instructions does not say anything about it.

Just the phone. Keep those accessories. I'd send it with a fully charged battery.

Yea, they should take the phone that you are trading in. They inspect it very carefully.

sounds like you just did a regular full price purchase or JOD purchase.

Is the EIP contract and disclosure supposed to show the trade-in and the credit details? It only shows iphone 12 pro is 999.99 and the monthly payment is $41.67?
How do I verify that I am getting the monthly credit for the trade in? I am at the "submit order" by signing using docusign stage..
Mine is the same, is yours different? I don't think the document for eip usually shows the promotion.

The one I signed for the A32 deal didn't either and I know I am enrolled in that promo.

It's there a restocking fee or anything? Do I just take it back to the store? Thanks for your help!
Assuming you have not opened the phone AND not shipped in the trades.

It depends on 2 factors:

1. If you bought the phone in store, you would need to return it there, AND they will charge you fee.

2. If you order online, or thru chat, depend on which CS rep process the return, some/most would waive the fee.

I was told by the TM force today on FB

I got the IPHONE SE for free with 24 months EIP credits in March 2021
I paid it off in full a month ago because I wanted to take advantage of the free Samsung A32 5G phone with trade in of any working phone. Today I paid off the Samsung A32 5G phone thinking I can take advantage of the IPHONE 12 wiht trade in credit of $830 credit for my Iphone XS.

Tmobile agent said I paid off the first two phones but I won't credit any credits cos I cant strack credits on same line.

I've done trade in deals with T-Mobile before. Never shipped out any accessories. They just care about the phone. I have seen people trading in phones in store and take their charger and cables, the reps keep it for themselves if it's Apple branded

I don't think you are replying to the scenario that I am asking about. I'm not trying to stack multiple trade-in deals. My current phone is a OnePlus 7T off the B&H deal from a few months ago that I own free and clear. I'm just making sure I understood what the gain was here if I were to sell the iPhone 12 after buying it through this promo and trading in my current phone. (In this scenario, I'd then be using one of my older phones for a bit after selling the iPhone.)

I bought it online. Think I'm best calling T-Mobile support or trying to use T-Force on Twitter?

Is Costco deal 24 bill credit or $830 in gc?
