Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose
Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.
For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

I just did something similar not so long ago, yes, you can pay off the Pixel and trade in for the Iphone. You'll still receive monthly credits for the Pixel
Thank you! I just figured it out...

iPhone tax = $52.80 -- $50 upgrade to 128 GB -- Pay off Pixel = $395.96

Total out of pocket = $498.76 - Continued bill credits of 20.84 x 19 ($392.96)

$498.76 - 392.96 = $105.80 effective cost for 128 GB iPhone 12

Unless I am missing something, this would effectively be even cheaper that buying an iphone 8 for around $200, paying the tax $52.80 and the $50 to upgrade the storage for the new iPhone = Total $302.80

Am I missing anything? (I may be able to get any upgrade fee or sim card waived) if not that would add about $30 cost to the deal.

The store doesn't determine the final say. It's when it's inspected when received

So what happens when it gets inspected by assurance, and denied. Just wondering what the worse case scenario might be? Are all credits lost? Can you contact t-force?

Did you pay the sales tax on $200 or is tax included in that amount?
I'm pretty much sure local MC will charge me NYS tax on top, if I decide to buy.
199.99 plus tax.

ORDER TOTAL
$104.99

TRANSACTION -128 GB IPhone was ordered over phone support. Rep did not charge support fees nor shipping upon request.
Insurance deductible $0.00
Taxes and fees $55.00
Shipping $0.00
Total due today $104.99
Due monthly $34.59

I'm in Texas where tax is 8.25%. Why tax is only $55.00? Trade in value quoted $153 for iPhone X. iPhone 12 128 Gb was ordered.

Why my tax is only $55? Anyone have the same/experience?

correct. Best bet is to find an iPhone 8 for around $200, trade that in, then sell your IP11 pro outright. No way should you be trading in an IP11 for this deal.
You can do s9 for even less

Three weeks back I got new iphone 12 trading-in iphone 8 for $430(previous promotion). So I called CSR and explained the current promotion and they gave me $200 credit. Sharing for others who are in the same situation.

I have Samsung A71 on EIP plan with monthly bill credit of $22.50 and still have 15 months left.

I had a chat from T-Mobile App and provided my EIP plan ID. They're saying "upon checking here, if you will be paying off the phone early, the promotion will be void because the contract for the phone must be followed"

I saw some posts here saying bill credit should be valid after payoff. So, it depends on the contracts? I got my A71 as free after bill credit with trade-in. Any advice will be appreciated since I don't want to miss this deal if I'm qualified..

This deal is actually thru Tmobile. They ship it to you, so ask for your color of choice. If purchasing a phone from Costco, then they have limited in stock colors. My Costco had Blue or Black iphone 12 only, but this is if you purchase it with another promo.

Is it better to do this deal at costco or tmobile store or online at tmobile.com?
Quote from waterfront :
costco has several other deals (BOGO, $150 or $300 GCs) but this deal can also be done at costco (which they call market offer). basically it is same as tmobile online or tmobile instore deal except that at costco you dont pay $10 sim+ $20 upgrade support charge. on top of it , you also get $30 costco gc via rebate.
thats total of $60 per line savings by avoiding tmobile store.
Vs tmobile online you end up paying $10 sim + $12 shipping fee.
Vs tmobile instore, you have the advantage of trading in your old phone immediately and be done with it!
Actually the stores are not charging $10 sim fee anymore but do charge $20 support charge, which you may be able to get credited back to account through cs.

Costco will do what is called direct delivery to home where they will put you on eip so you are eligible for this offer, to boot they will give you a $30 cash card via mail after ~90 days. This gives Costco the edge without any $20 support charge.

So I ordered my iPhone 12 last night with trade-in my iPhone 7 Plus. During the checkout and trading process, it show I will be crediting $530 for the trade-in. However, this morning, I got a Text "A quote of $45 was accepted for your Apple iPhone 7 256GB Rose Gold with serial .....". I hope this is just a generic Text msg. Anyone has received similar msg for your trade-in? Anything I need to worry about? If it really a $45 for the trade-in, I wont bother with this order. Also, will you be able to cancel the trade-in and return the iphone 12 in case they do not honor the $530 trade-in promo value?

$45 will be applied to your account once your trade in is approved. The remaining $485 will be applied over the course of 24 months. total will be $530

Thanks for confirming, I have an active iPhone 7 probably that's the reason and someone here mentioned for sprint trade in phone has to be active on account.
