Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

I never buy a phone from Swappa. Do you get imei right away from all the seller after you make a purchase or it depends on seller? I can get iPhone 8 for $229 at local store or $214 from swappa. I going to buy 2 iPhone 8.

T-Mobile via chat matched the Costco promotion. I upgraded 2 iPhones (X and XS) and got $60 credit ($30 for each phone line upgraded) immediately to my account as well as free 2 day shipping, no activation fee and waiving of the $20 assistance fee.

I was going to wait until the new iPhone came out in September, but this deal was just too good to pass up!

Once I received the Iphone, can I call in and activate the installed sim on any of the line on my account? Or it has to be activated with the line I used during the upgrade? Thanks in advance

It can take a while, depends on how busy they are I guess. For the A32 promo, one of my trade-ins was received (according to the mail tracker) on Monday but didn't actually get processed until a week later.

Yes, the deal requires signing up for an EIP. You can pay in full later after the monthly bill credits start posting.
