Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

Has it showed up on your EIP page? If so, they've assigned you the phones and probably packaged/shipped it.
It says in account history as shipped but no email or tracking number.

Anyone know if you can change the trade in phone? let's say I have a iPhone X and iPhone SE2.

Online I did the trade in as iPhone X and changed my mind and want to trade in the iPhone SE2 instead now

Edit looks like it was just answered right before I posted
Not sure how that works with different trade in values. The ones I've seen change the IMEI are those with same make/model. The X trade is $830 while SE2 is $530. How would that affect your contract? You should probably contact T-force.

Regarding EIP, the link has the answer from T-Mobile. You basically need to pay it off. But wait until you see the recurring credits. Someone here paid off the recent Samsung deal too early and lost the credit.

Thanks. I'm not seeing the promos in both of those pages. Is it because my order is still being processed ?
I did see the $830 offer for my 8+ during checkout.

I still have not receive any shipping information tmobile. but i checked my ups app and see that the label has been created and the phone is in their possession. I guess tmobile is a little behind from the response of the promotion.

My order of iPhone 12 128gb purple does not have a pending credit card charge nor eip in account but does show as processing. Is this because it's backorder a few days/week?

I'm more worried about my trade in to assurant. I shipped last Monday for the previous promo and haven't had any movement in the tracking for a week. I received alerts to send my phone in. I've traded in before and I think it should be fine, but still getting nervous when a simple USPS scan would help me at ease...

For the people crying about T-Mobile 'locking' you in for two years, I've been with T-Mobile for 7 years and for the past four years, have never paid for a phone myself. The price is lower than what I would pay Verizon or AT&T and there are free line promotions every year. It would be great if they still offered a prepaid card instead but if they did that and people just canceled their T-Mobile service after so they can abuse the promotion, they wouldn't be able to offer these phones for relatively free in the future. All I know is I'm paying less than I would have paid AT&T or Verizon, I'm getting free phones every two years (actually making a profit) and now I'm getting unlimited 5G/4G on all phones under my line. I don't know what there isn't to like other than if T-Mobile's service sucks in your area.

Plus free food on Tuesdays .

Did you simply drop it off in a mailbox or have a postal employee scan it and get a receipt?

Agreed. I've kept their service anyway, so don't mind the financing and credits. Only other promo I've done is LG G6 BOGO (but that was a rebate), Costco Note 9 trade-in, but kept phone until now, and the free LG Tablets with added lines.

While not ideal to be locked in, i haven't felt compelled to change providers so might as well take advantage.
