Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):
https://share.getcloudapp.com/GGuQ99y0

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

Has anyone had an issue when submitting the trade in request for one IMEI number (qualifying phone) and then trading in a different IMEI device (also qualifying phone)? I accidentally submitted the IMEI for a Note 10 for the $830 bill credits but have a S9 (also qualifies for $830 credits) that I want to trade in since the Note 10 is much nicer phone and I wanted to keep it as a spare. I spoke to 611 CS rep and they said its not a problem when I receive the iPhone 12 to send in an alternative IMEI device as long as it qualifies. Just want to check here to see if anyone has come across this scenario and has experience. Just don't want any hasels with the $830 credit.

I am waiting for shipping tracking. Ordered my phone early on Saturday from Costco. It says shipped, but nothung else.
let me know if you get a tracking number via fedex or ups
you can sign up for an account and the app will have the tracking numbers even before Costco sends out a tracking.

I have a shipment coming in from Indiana from IMM but I think that's the 2 iPhone 8's that I ordered

edit: where do you see that it says shipped?

Still waiting for shipping email
Shipping emails and text alerts from T-Mobile are coming out. Just got an email and text alert for 1 of my order. It's matching what UPS told me earlier.

here is the printout the Costco rep gave me

Fulfillment type is direct delivery
They have had similar deals before where it was the big rebate which I also did and never had an issue.
Some people in those threads did the bill credits since there was no on hand stock in their specific Costcos and still received the credits.

Hope everything goes smooth, will post up when I check my account and see the credits.
I did the same at Costco. You're right in that Costco did not have a special matching this pricing, which is why I'm not buying the phone from Costco (normally you pay at Costco cashier and they give you the phone from the cage). But instead, the Wireless Advocates at the kiosk was acting as an authorized reseller for T-Mobile to take advantage of T-Mo promo. This is their Direct Delivery fulfillment channel. I paid the tax on the $800 phone directly to Wireless Advocates at the kiosk.

They entered my S9 IMEI, I got $800 credit towards my S21 which will be mailed to me. I also got a shipping label to send my S9 to T-Mobile/Assurant, and a $30 Costco giftcard form.

So by going to Costco, I got same deal as in a T-mo store, but don't have to pay $20 assistance fee, nor have to pay $6.99 shipping if done online, plus get extra $30 Costco card.

Did you see the pictures of the documentation that the Costco kiosk printed out? In addition to the Membership Wireless deals they have for in stock phones, Costco kiosks can also access the Prism system to order phones by direct delivery and match the monthly bill credit offers from T-Mobile.
ah no, in the default view the attachments didn't show and the description says they were given a trade in value of like $83 (like the rest of us were), not that the full $830 was provided. Interesting though, wonder why it didn't make the site. Would have gone in and gotten 128gb models vs needing to order online.

At any rate, mine just got delivered. Did do overnight though and ordered sat am.

Huge farking doubt on that one - membership wireless runs different promos and this was not listed online under their offers at any point this weekend.

I'm not saying someone doesn't think they're getting the promo, but they have always been different promos in the past. SOMETIMES a similar promo with rebate card or similar would be offered at costco, but still, separate deals.

As it's not in writing/advertised in any capacity as a membership wireless deal that's pretty ballsy to go for it. Good luck and hope the $30 cash card was worth it Smilie
Nope , same deal at Costco . My family did the order.

I wanted to know this as well, and I luckily came across the answer just by randomly clicking page numbers for this deal thread; Page 179, Post 2675, lol...

I'm going to order the iPhone 8 from Boost and trade that in instead of the Note10 I originally registed to trade in.

Holding out for the purple mini to come back in stock. It pained me to pass on trading in $150-200 phones for $800 phones. (don't mind the bill credits.)

I do have 2 white minis (one 128, one 64) paid off from the recent iPhone SE deal that I'd be willing to trade for a purple one.

Of course, little did we know that $365+SE would end up being worse than the newer deal of buying a $200 phone and getting the full $730-830..

I can't thank you enough for confirming and linking the post. Very cool! I will reply to the email and see if I can get it updated before the phone arrives Smilie

And funny, the Note 10 is just too nice of a phone to trade in despite the $830 value credit. It would make for a killer spare or even better to be sold hahha. Appreciate your help!

Every email I got from tmobile has a donotreply email address.
Do you guys know what email to send to in order to change the device and IMEI that we are trading in. I'd rather send in an iphone 8 instead of my current iphone 11.
