Not likely. It said value up to $79.99. Most, if not all, brushless tools are $99 or above.

Anybody know why the ryobi deals have gotten worse?
Supply chain disruptions due to Covid coupled with increased inflation due to government printing trillions of dollars over the past year. It's not just Ryobi deals... everything is getting way more expensive.

I can say the "worse" was 2 years ago when I got two 3Ah batteries for $99 and a free tool.

At least they are still doing 4Ah batteries.

Tools selection still seems the same, so IDK where the "worse" comment is coming from.

The 3ah batteries from the 2019 deal were HP batteries.

Yeah the deal from two years ago are the HP battery. I'd take 3 Ah HP over 4 Ah. These are just regular batteries.
If you didn't know that

Terrible batteries, no overcharge protection. I lost two batteries from charging them overnight. The batteries ruin the product line for me. I switched to Milwaukee and have been going strong for awhile now.
From my cell phones to any battery chargers I use a wall timer to plug them into and set usually for an hour or two. Never have issues.

I'd take 4AH over the 3hp+, but just barely. The cells in the 3+ are better, but the 4ah will last longer (year wise).

Really all you need is a Ridgid to Ryobi adapter...

I leave my batteries in the charger all the time. Never had a problem with my 10+ batteries for the last 6-8 years. Only had one that got a bad cell in it.
Same here. The chargers have the protection built in. Unless you are mixing non compatible chargers (old nicad models) with newer batteries, this won't happen.

Can you stack the $5? If so, how low would you go before paying to not send up red flags
