My local Walmart has Year Long Brown, Black, or Red Mulch for sale at 1.50 per 2cf bag. Could not find that price online, however it was outside the buildings on pallets with the 1.50 price shown. So YMMV deal as usual with Walmart.

I ordered 6 bags for store pick-up@ 11.82 total and they credited me back 8.52 after I picked them up! 55 cents each I guess...
