Great Tool... as I always say, the XR oscillating tool is probably the best tool Dewalt has. It truly crushes other brands.

But I need another bag and weak battery/charger like I need a fresh kidney stone. Lol.

The 1.3ah, and 1.5ah are such bizarre batteries. They are great for using as a portable charger in a backpack, or truck, but in tools they're 💩. Lol.

At least give us the low profile 3ah. I like the low profiles because of the wider base. They are less tippy for drills.

Now if only Dewalt mad a 9ah low profile... lol, it'd be like a 13" iron skillet on your tool. Lol.

How are you using those as a charger, and what are you charging with them?

Probably one of these usb chargers.

I got one as part of a drill deal before. I carried it for a while, but I have so many other portable batteries, I never used it.

Agreed, I bought into same deal maybe 7 days ago.. product just arrived and tested over the weekend.. tried to remove some tile grouts, the 1.5Ah is just not enough juice to do the job.. i think it ran 5 min the first time and then i had to wait 1-2 min before the trigger will work again (I thought battery is drained).. funny thing is i put battery back on charger, it shows solid LED red meaning its' full, I took battery off from charger and tried again, , each trigger pull prob gave me 2-3 seconds of action...

Is this a defective battery ? Any thought on a 4.0 or 5.0 Ah Amazon non-Dewalt brand from China? Them any good ?

Would this be a better deal since it comes with a 5AH battery? Or is it worth getting the XR version with a worse battery. Been waiting for a good deal on a DeWalt multitool and not sure which one to proceed with.

No because this tool isn't the XR one.
