I got in on this deal the last time it popped up. We're still on the original cartridges and we've not had the chance to see if after-market cartridges are any good, but I sure hope so.

This device DOES NOT have duplex scanning abilities and you have to flip your page over like a peasant if you want to scan both sides. We scan once every few weeks so it's not a hassle for us. But if you scan a lot, keep this in mind when purchasing.

What is the difference between this and MF644Cdw?

Have this. I would suggest you make sure you install drivers from the website or CD for all units. Windows drivers work initially, but then can't reconnect. Don't know why. Works fine with official Canon drivers though.

This device DOES NOT have duplex scanning abilities and you have to flip your page over like a peasant if you want to scan both sides. We scan once every few weeks so it's not a hassle for us. But if you scan a lot, keep this in mind when purchasing.

How does this printer handle something like address labels? I have to print a couple hundred pages of them a year and so many printers either jam up or they get off kilter and print crooked.

Anyone know if this can handle cardstock? That's the only thing holding us off on a color laser printer, we use cardstock alot.

I bought this at the same price the last time it was on sale. It's a nice printer, downloaded the driver but can't figure out the wireless, will need to devote more time. Print quality is good, haven't looked into replacement cartridges yet I'm sure the Canon cartridges are expensive but will look for some non-factory ones. I have had Canon multifunction printers before and had good luck with aftermarket cartridges.

This printer is frustrating as it will always ask to pick which tray to pull the paper from. Why would it ask if the multi-purpose tray is empty???
