Question for y'all on this one, currently investigating options for other cell providers (with the exception of $5 for every gigabyte after the 2 included) this seems to be a fairly good deal. Any word on other comparative options that are currently floating around, used swappa to crosscheck some other offerings but just wanted to see if anyone has any other experiences that are notable or worth mentioning?

What towers do they use now? With all the switching of owners as of late I don't know who they use anymore.
Same question because I keep reading about Dish (boosts owners) being unhappy about how quickly T-Mobile is shutting down the Sprint CDMA network.

If this only uses sprint CDMA then seems like a bad deal. Assuming it is a hybrid of Sprint and T-mobile it might still be a bad deal if it has a low priority on T-mobile

Bad deal because this is ~$9 more expensive than the current Tello deal via StackSocial, and uses the same network (so similar coverage and compatibility), yet this plan doesn't offer any free data past the 2GBs. Tello offers unlimited 2G past the 2GB high speed allotment.

TLDR: You're getting less for more. Thumbs down.
You must be new customer tho

I'm going to save every one a lot of trouble and headache. Stay far away from BOOST, search prior Deals with BOOST and read the threads!

How long do you have to activate? Just signed up for a 6 month tello promo but I wouldn't mind having this once I'm done with tello

As a new customer, Boost is sending you a T-Mobile GSM SIM.

It's as easy as using a different email address, and there's been reports of it only needing to be a new line.

Alas, that deal is now dead until there's a new 20% off coupon.

Came here to say the same thing. Not sure why it keeps popping in my feed all the time - it's worse than StackSocial / Tello deal from a few days ago.

Probably because the OP is a SD employee? But yeah, not sure how this got 15 up votes so quickly yesterday.

At this point it's actually not a bad deal, considering that the coupon code expired on the other deal - though that deal makes a return every month or two.

Would the $90 ePin work on the 1GB plan? Would be interesting to get 9 months on that plan, but not sure if limited to a 6 month timeline. If does say that a higher plan can be selected and the difference paid out of pocket.

Anyone know if it's worth getting the 2-year extended warranty for $19.99? Or would I be better off with the 1-year extended warranty for only $15.99?

laugh out loud
