Our last rebate round had over 94% of the approval rate. Less than 6% had issues with tracking where the transaction did not track back to us. When the transaction does not track back to us, it means that one of the listed requirements was not met. We always make sure to double-check the results to make sure there are no mistakes from our side. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] if you need any help checking on your submission.
I did reach out and Slickdeals was less than helpful. No attempt to try and resolve, or explain the situation. Just a one liner telling me it didn't track. You say 94% approval rate but I'm inclined to believe that isn't close to accurate.
Anyone considering this offer just be prepared to not get your money from Slickdeals. SoFi was very quick to pay. Funny how that works.

There is not a risk here anyway, you aren't going to lose your deposit, just not get the rebate. Close the account in that case (though again I am certain you will get the rebate if you submit it right).
Anyone considering this offer just be prepared to not get your money from Slickdeals. SoFi was very quick to pay. Funny how that works.
Wish the process were smoother / better and the payout much faster, but SD did make it right. I think I've read others have the similar experiences where eventually they did get their rebate.
That being said, like with any Rebate and/or CB and/or trade-in (phones), documentation is a must and key. I made sure to screenshot every step including the referring / referral URL showing etc. The screenshots + the e-mail confirmations + referral URL's were almost concrete evidence that I fulfilled all requirements. I'm sure SD will make it much better going forward ... at least that is my hope, but don't give up! Whether the hassle / potential delays are worth it to you, that's a personal choice.
In any case, thought I might share my experience. Was as frustrated as most of you back earlier this year when I first escalated this, but today, I am happy I got my rebate
Otherwise, there are some people out there who try and "game" the system by clicking on multiple referrals at the same time and trying to double, triple dip on cashback. I.E. rebate from SD + CB from another site + maybe something else even. From SoFi point of view, they will only pay one referrer and in this case, SD wants to make sure it is them and in turn, SD is providing you a rebate. I wouldn't say this is a unique process, but just slower than many others (so far). Hope they improve. Their Staff has been pretty responsive via DM and somewhat responsive via e-mail as well. They won't fully leave you hanging dry hahaha just might take a while to get a correspondence.
