Home Depot has select Ryobi ONE+ 18-Volt Cordless Power Tool Bundles on sale starting at $69. Shipping is free or select free ship-to-store pickup where available.
Thanks to community member XxHALOGENxX for finding this deal.
Note: Availability for store pickup may vary by location.
the ryobi multitool takes an allen key to swap blades. kind of a pain, but nbd. im not in a race. but the jobplus system doesnt have a storage spot for the allen key. this seems like a pretty silly nitpick till you have to change blades and there isnt an allen key in sight.
also, the base isnt variable speed... which sort of sucks for some of the attachments.
its a cheap way to get a handful of tools, but do note that there are limitations. im not trying to steer anyone away from the deal, but these are things to know before you buy that you might not think about.
Thanks for the heads up! I am actually interested in the multitool, but I'm holding out for the Ryobi Days deal on the 24th, but this would be a reasonable deal if that one wasn't so close!
Consider with what we know about Ryobi Days coming up I believe you can get two 4.0 AH battiers and a free Jobplus for $99 in that sale. This deal comes with a single 1.5 Ah battery.

I own this and a bunch of the jobplus attachments thanks to great deals at dto over the years. I have the metal shears, drywall cutter, jig saw, and the oscillating head. Ironically, the oscillating head is the worst performing attachment of those I listed. Don't buy this for that, get a dedicated unit. The DeWalt kit at $99 delivered is a much better buy for an oscillating tool. I have used my Ryobi on a lot of projects, and the head is getting looser with use. It's very, very annoying.
This tool is for cutting drywall and some wood, like recept on island. Any of that other BS they say it can do it can't.
If you expect it to do drywall and wood/nails, your fine.
I bought a corded Ridgid JobMax 2nd hand but didn't include the multi tool, just the right angle drill and jigsaw. They don't sell the multi tool head separately, so I've had my eye on DTO for a battery JobMax or JobPlus to add some options. Reviews are leading me to wait for JobMax, but I have some projects at home waiting. May have to go full price.
Anyway, I've been watching the JobPlus for weeks and I'm wondering if $69 is just the normal price for this tool. It never showed the $158 crossed out until I saw this post.
While the JobPlus isn't the smoothest tool (what most of the complaints are about), I've found the flexibility quite useful. I used to carry a full size recip and other tools with me, and the JobPlus allows me to just carry the swappable heads (recip, rotary, etc) making my travel load out lighter and more compact.
I agree and multitool should be good quality item meaning as stable as possible while working, becoz of the kinds of jobs U used this multi tool for one mistake and it can create damage around. I am handyman at home but a serious one rather. Also on multitool u dont want buttons to continously press not becoz its a safety mechanism but when we use multi tool its in vairous positions of cutting, grinding, etc and its very awkward to hold down on the trigger. Loads of other points to consider as well

Thats why U dont invest in this tool.... I dont want 5 multi tools becoz 1 cant do this other cant do that etc etc..... invest in 1 good quality multi tool and good for life
Like everyone else says: If you want a Deal, just wait for Ryobi Days. You'll get 2 much better batteries and and better charger (or a spare/ back-up charger).

True however if you want a different tool from the Ryobi days besides this multi-tool this is a good deal to get now then get the other tool and extra 2 batteries when Ryobi days starts.
P.s. I've been fully aware of Ryobi days and still posted this. I want to get the best tool/most expensive from that list or something specific I need.

It is not downgraded; it is the original Ryobi multi tool, not the "Job-Plus" abomination.
I find it preferable to the changeable head argle-bargle unit.
Also it is variable speed, unlike the other.
