Good to know. I am a Liberty customer with their 1GB plan, and wish to point out that any unused data does not roll over to the next month.

Hello's coverage is as good as Liberty's - they use the same network.
There are some differences even if both of them buy bandwidth from T-Mobile. From what I know, Liberty links with the prepaid wireless group which run operations for many MVNOs. In contrast Hello Mobile is a subsidiary of Q Link (a lifeline provider) and contracting T-Mobile from there. It may be better or worse depend on where you're from, but only for data speed. Voice/text is not a matter.

Point taken, but regardless of how the service is provided by the MVNO, the coverage should be the same.

Also take a look at US Mobile. They have more data at the same price point as Mint, and they do NOT require bulk-buy: you can go month-to-month. They have verizon and tmobile looks like.

I just switched one of my lines from Mint to US Mobile. It has only been a couple of days, but so far so good.
US Mobile is not bad but they do use "hard cap" with their non-unlimited data plans. In addition, they charge the bs "$2 per line charge that's added to your monthly bill in addition to taxes and fees." That's why Tello is still a better deal.

NYC addresses sometimes don't match up with usps nationwide system. If you are in Queens, drop the dash "-" from between your cross street/Avenue number and your actual house number. For example. 199-02 44th Avenue, Bayside, ny 11361...... Goes well with 19902 44 Avenue.......
Thank you,my address showed up but I'm in a 20 story building and only apartments on the 10th floor populated.

Just got a notification from USPS that my order is being sent back to sender for "insufficient address". Called customer service and it sounded like the guy was driving.

I thought Federal regulations require carriers to accommodate requests to port out your number.

I've never seen a carrier not allowed port in or out.

here's what I read when googled:

Liberty Wireless Porting Instructions

The rep we spoke to at Liberty Wireless told us, "There are no options for Porting in or out of Liberty Wireless."

Clearly incorrect information. Carriers are compelled by law to allow for ports in and out. A Google search should have returned this page: https://www.libertywireless.com/B...number.php

I ported out from Liberty to Google Fi. I emailed them and they gave me the account # and pin no problem.

Chat says the SIM takes 5 to 7 days to arrive. Is it available in stores so I can start this plan faster?

I didn't know that. I just started with them, and got the first month free. I just checked my account to renew it will cost 19.91 per month for 5GB unlimited plan. It is more expensive than Mint's 4GB (which comes to around $200-205 for a year). Good thing though is US Mobile is month-to-month. Also if you travel internationally they give you free data if your phone can support eSIM.
