I think I paid $400 $500 when these were newer. They've been absolutely fantastic. Eero updates the firmware a few times a year. I would look up the wifi 6 specs, you need really fast internet to take advantage of it. I'm not sure I'll ever tell much difference between 300 MB/s and 800 MB/s. I think these are an excellent value at $250.
I've had this setup for almost 2 years and ill be sticking with Eero for future purchases. Their products are fantastic and their customer service is suoer easy to get in contact with and they respond fast
Lol $250 for a slow wifi 5 system that cant even come close to competing against other wifi 5 mesh systems which are cheaper like the Deco M9+..... Sucker born every minute I believe is the saying for anyone who thinks this is a deal!
Alright I'll entertain this. What makes the Deco M9 better? I'm legit curious

My eero set is over a year old and is outstanding. So good in fact I run it at all 3 of our houses and got my friends to get them as well.
Don't see how you could say these are slow. I get a constant 600 down on my wireless devices.

Ability to get faster speeds reguarily at the router as many reviewers were constantly able to get over 500Mbps on their tests. With this speeds for reviewers were never consistent and fluctuated between 300Mbps to 550Mbps regularly. Ability to have high speeds even 15-30 feet out from the router, the Eero drops speeds quickly the further out you go, the M9+ holds the speeds way better.
The other same as the 2nd point is that it just has better range in general.
Overall the M9+ just beats the Eero silly.

You must have got a good set since out of all the professional reviews noone was able to get over 550Mbps and most of them averaged around 400Mbps at the router. Here are a few reviews of the router and beacon set, just looking at the speeds at the router shows how much this set fluctuates speeds from user to user. Yes this is the 3 router set, which is why we are only looking at speed at the router in the reviews.
There are multiple Ebay selling who is selling individual or 3 pack for this price or cheaper. There is one seller who sells a single pack for $86 each if you don't need 3.

That's interesting you say that because from the numerous reviews I've read it says the M9+ struggles with the further out you are the worst it becomes. The Eero seems to win in that category due to the Pro's being able to have each station create its own signal?
In other words the Eero isn't the fastest but people claim it's the most consistent overall experience.

If you have FIOS TV, do the boxes still work if you get rid of their Modem/router?
