  • The Display is 250 nits 45% NTSC (around 60% sRGB).
  • 4GB Ram is soldered and one Ram slot with 4GB Stick. You can replace that with a 32GB stick to get total 36GB or memory. 16GB mentioned is just the max Ram what Asus sells this model with.
  • In case you upgrade the Ram over 4GB, you will still get Dual Channel for 8GB (4GB soldered + 4GB portion of the Memory stick).
  • The Type-C port is 10 Gbps (Gen 2) but Data only. It doesn't support charging or Display Out

At this price, you won't get a 400 nits 100% sRGB display from any manufacturers and that's not really a downside for the price.
This one is far better in terms of CPU and Integrated GPU performance and far means really far far better CPU performance. The Display Quality is more or less same both. Acer one has a partial metal construct and Thunderbolt 3 vs mostly plastic construct of VivoBook. However, the build quality of this VivoBook Flip series is pretty good, despite being Plastic construct. My pick will be this one because of the far superior CPU performance and almost 2X GPU performance over the G1 Graphics in 1035G1.
It will be dual channel up to 8 GB. It's not ideal but going 12 GB doesn't mean you lose dual channel completely.

Normally VivoBooks don't support that. That Port most likely is just a data port, but a faster 10 Gbps variant.

5th gen ryzen does

Can you explain what that has to do with Processor generation because Type-C charging is a specification from USB Consortium, not processor manufacturers. A lot of 4th and 3rd Gen Ryzen do that too

Just bought it. Everything is perfect except for the display. It's pretty dim. I thought I wouldn't care that much. But I might have to return it for that reason. Colors aren't very vibrant either. All to be expected for the price but man. It's not good.

I just got the computer today. I second the comment about the display being dim and colors not being saturated. I noticed because I use an hp 14" Elitebook for work and I am replacing with this a 9 year old a Samsung Series 9 13.3". Both of these retail for ~1000 new. This is my first time buying in this price range so I wonder if thats what you get for the price? If you have nothing to compare it to, you will like it because it does have great features and feels great. I may keep it just because I dont want to pay twice the price just for a better display.

I got this for my son and he loves it. He uses it for remote school and Roblox. I never had a 2 in 1 before and it is surprisingly pretty useful.

Same! I hated the move to all the combined keys for Home, End, PgUp and PgDn. Glad to see it come back as dedicated keys!
