I have three of these. The switch failed on two of them so they are stuck in strobe mode. These flashlights are only used every few months so they were lightly used and the switches still failed. The one that still works is going strong though. When they work, they are good flashlights but only having 1/3 work within 2 years of purchasing has turned me off from purchasing any more.
Anker is making a brand out of slickdeals, everyone loves a flashlight. Price high and sale everyday. Well played
Bought this years ago. Button went wonky it only flashed after maybe a year of very light use. Maybe once a month. Would not buy this again.

There are many better and similarly priced lights from Sofirn, Thrunite, etc.

Have one I use in the house, I got last year. Works really well with mild use. I'm going to buy one for my car. I got a flat last week and luckily was on the street with some light. If it dies I can charge it in my car. Nothing tactical like some links on here. LOL

I got this one the other day and think it's awesome. Super bright. You can see that beam shooting out, it's like a light saber. Best flashlight I have ever owned.

I bought the similar, two battery, LC 90 and the button failed too. They don't make buttons like they used to?

What do you recommend instead for a rechargeable flashlight? If you have a link, that would be perfectSmilie

Could you link to specifically the ones you're referencing? I didn't find any in the same price range ($20-$30). I'm looking to buy a rechargeable, durable flashlight... I tend to drop flashlights a lot (don't ask me why) and then they just break. Just for walking around the neighborhood, nothing extreme. Don't need a handheld 20k lumens spotlight Stick Out Tongue

if anyone has recommendations let me know.

I have really liked my Wowtac A1S NW [amazon.com]. It's $30 on Amazon, but there are occasional 5-20% off coupons. I've had mine for just over a year and it still functions like new.

It is waterproof, not too big, and has been super reliable. I haven't dropped it significantly, but it has gotten soaking wet in both water and isopropyl alcohol solution quite a few times. The low setting is a slightly brighter than I'd like but doesn't kill your night vision, and the bright setting is super bright. I carry mine when I run at night. I didn't have a 18650 charger, but the light comes with an 18650 battery that charges directly from a micro usb port. I picked one in neutral white (NW) rather than coole white (the CW version). I haven't compared the two, but when I researched lights, a majority of the true flashlight nerds seem to prefer warm or neutral versions over colder color temp lights for seeing detail at night.

Lots of similar lights can only run on high for a minute or two before they turn down to a lower setting. This doesn't do that, but can get uncomfortably hot if you run it on high for a long time.

It has 4 settings from low to high, a useless SOS setting, and a strobe function. It remembers the last setting you had it on for every setting except strobe.

I've had other lights from ArmyTek (they either last forever or never work right to start with, and ArmyTek's customer service is atrocious), Fenix (decent lights, but a little expensive), and various cheaper versions. This has been my favorite so far.

I've been using these for a couple of years for inspection work and have had zero issues. They've been dropped and banged around and still keep on going. No switch or battery problems either. Currently two of these, also an Anker LC40, LC30 & P2 g a few others I've lost. Would recommend.

Or maybe contact the seller as opposed to making Amazon suffer (who will pass their losses on to every customer). Most of these Chinese product importers will bend over backward to avoid a bad review....even past their warranty period.

Quote from MATR6 :
If Amazon keeps selling items that cannot last a few years, why do us consumers have to suffer for it..
So Amazon should vet every product over YEARS? Amazon has 12 MILLION products....

Lets rephrase this a different way; 'I bought a box of cereal at the grocery store I didn't like, It's dishonest, but buy a new one & return the bad one in the new box. Why should I have to suffer because the grocery store keeps selling items I do not like.'

I agree. However, I have had the 3 pack sold at Costco for over 10 years. No issues.

I looked at the item when it was posted and saw this was the one I bought. I don't think you can ever have too many flashlights, but for me it's not a good option.

As someone said before - they (Anker) is selling lights through deception of a bid discounted "sale" to all those thinking they are getting a super deal. These are cheap junk lights that do not have much brightness or power. I would recommend doing some research and sticking with a FENIX or SUREFIRE light. Please take it from a law enforcement professional for 26yrs, this light is a disappointment even for me at crime scenes. I expect better from ANKER, and they lost my faith now with items I see with this name!

I have this light and love it. I actually like the larger size compared to the WOWTAC A6 or Wurkkos FC11, which I also own and love. Its not a question of which is "better" IMO...just different designs/form factors that depending on the situation makes one preferred over the other. For me at least.
