At the moment of publishing, this hasn't been confirmed. The information -- obviously -- doesn't come from Epic Games or 2K, but HypeX, a prominent Fortnite dataminer and leaker, who claims the following text is scheduled to appear on the storefront tomorrow:

This is the "Current Gen" version of the game and does not include the graphical upgrades of the "Next Gen" versions of the game. Essentially the PS4 version, though with a good pc you can get a much smoother framerate at least.

thanks for sharing the rumor. hopefully it's true. i stopped buying their games when they went with the whole VC pay to win garbage, and that you could only do my career with the story lines while online. Really ruined the game for me.

Well, definitely hoping this is true. All we would need now is crossplatform multiplayer. Hoping that EA follows suit with FIFA and we get that for free too Big Grin
