It definitely can just like any 60w charger, even the wall brick itself should charge the Switch. The risk comes from the fact that the Switch's USB port doesn't follow USB standards and there's a slight chance it can burn out the port. That's why Anker has a specific model made for the Switch, that is guaranteed to safely charge the Switch, and if anything wrong happens to your console, it's still covered under warranty, unlike using a 3rd party dock and charger.

This is the one from Anker made for the Switch. [bestbuy.com] It has one less USB-A port and doesn't come with a wall brick. Also the maximum Watt output is only 24w out of the USB-C port, which is enough for the Switch in handheld mode.

This is probably the best selling point.
My 20k PD version only charges at 18w so it takes upwards of 5 hours to fully charge.

It would be if it came with a power brick too.
Sure it can recharge at 100w according to its specs, but how much do I need to spend to get a 100w charger when this deal comes with its own.

You'll want to check what profiles it has. I think Apple uses 9volts x 2.22 amps. Another way is to see if it had usb-c PD 3.0
