Kino Lorber is working on a 4K restoration of Lost In Translation using the original print (it was shot on film.) This was supposed to have come out by the end of last year, though. Kino Lorber works at their own pace.
Saying "tar" is a classical music movie is like saying "there will be blood" is about the oil industry. It's more of a framework to explore the moral ambiguity of the lead characters and to examine what our own impressions of these characters says about us and the world we live in. All that being said I totally understand that Tar is not for everyone and get that many would be bored by it.

Belfast is shite. You can skip that one for sure. In Bruges is good.
