I bought two of these products 1 month ago. It is a solid umbrella. The only problem is that they both seem to be swinging in the wind quite a bit now. There have been multiple times over the last couple of weeks where I needed to close them up because the swinging was too much and I was worried about it hitting someone sitting underneath

Mine will swing when a mango hits it. I'm hoping that makes it more resistant to the direct strikes that killed my old umbrella. Yeah, I could fold it, but it gives the cats some shelter.
P.S. I got mine (not the same brand) for $40 from Amazon Warehouse.

I think it's the same type of base mine has, in which case you can use 4 large square pavers to hold it down. IMO, looks better than a big plastic base, and much cheaper.
The OP's umbrella uses Sunbrella fabric, which is for sure better than the cheaper ones. OTOH, it's always been the structure that's failed on mine.

I have had the cheaper umbrella you linked. The plastic is really weak at the connection points. If you consistently baby it when opening and closing it, you will probably be fine. My son put it away and of course being the teenager he is, it snapped in two. I just ordered this one. We will see how long it lasts - plus there is always the Costco warranty.

This 10' offset is $74, so more like $140 with base.
