UPDATE: Deal is still alive! Fellow slickdeals user thevlad has provided this link as a shared cart. I just checked it and it's still $99 with free shipping. Same steps apply. You have to use the link below for the shared cart.

https://thd.co/3oHyBUI

Home Depot has a Masterbuilt Pro Dual Fuel Smoker. Normal price is $250. Follow these instructions to replicate the deal:
  1. Go to link. Will list as $250: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Maste.../303357555
  2. Change store number to 2831 at the top.
  3. Price should change to $99.
  4. Ship to home. Should be free shipping.
  5. Checkout as normal.
This is lower than the lowest price on the three C's to date.

I ordered one on the 3rd with free shipping and it worked. UPS has it now and it's estimated to be delivered tomorrow.

Been wanting to dive into smoking now that I own a home and this seems like a great entry point.

Any advise or resources I should check out? I know I'll likely ruin some meat along the way!

Jumped on this with the Home Depot + HEB Gift Card deal. Basically 79$ for a Smoker is pretty slick.

Ordered mine today. No issues. Used the updated shared cart link, changed store to 2831. price dropped to 99. Selected free shipping. Expected arrival 6/10. $105 total.

I was looking for another smoker. My old Masterbuilt propane has been sitting outside in the desert without a cover for 8 years and is on it's last leg. The expensive 40" electric only lasted for about a year and a half before the controls stopped working. Really nice to get this one for about what I paid for my original propane model. The propane model has been much easier for me to maintain an accurate temp on in the winter months too. The MES40 would barely crack 200 in the winter. I've used the propane and had it hold steady at 230 in the while it was snowing.

I'm in northern Virginia....has anyone on the east coast or far away from the 2831 store successfully ordered via regular shipping and received this thing? I ordered mine yesterday afternoon, and the order went through, but shows as processing...no shipped notification yet...it says I should get it June 16th, but i'd feel more comfortable if i had a shipping email Frown

I've been thinking I'll flip mine for a profit and snag an electric, but now you've got me reconsidering. Did you ever have issues with the flame getting blown out in your previous gas one? I've heard that's an issue with these, which is one reason I was looking towards electric. I sorta want something I can set and forget for hours without having to worry about something going wrong.

No, I've never had an issue with the wind blowing it out. I usually toss the pork butts in late night or early morning with a remote thermometer (1 probe for each meat temp and 1 for box temp) . Once I have it where I want it with temp I usually don't open or mess with it until done. Smoke is only needed the first 2-3 hours so I load that bottom pan with chips and let it be. Most of my messing with it is around the first few minutes or so to make sure the chips don't catch fire (I am going to use a cast iron skillet with this one to see if that helps). If they do catch fire, I dump water on the chips and close the door. That is usually it until 8-12 hours pass. After the first couple of hours in the smoke, the meat doesn't take any more smoke so it doesn't do any good to add chips, etc.

The only time I had an issue with the flame going out was because I failed to check my propane level before I started and ran out 4 hours in. I noticed the temp drop probably an hour after the fuel ran out (hot day in AZ so it took a while to notice) and I finished it in the oven. Worked great and came out smoky, tender and juicy.

Ordered yesterday (6/10) using the shared cart link and changing the store to 2831. Order status said "Sorry this product is no longer available", but received a shipping notification today with an expected arrival of 6/14. Shipping from CA. Thank you guys, my first foray into smoking.

I just got this shipped but realized I'm not allowed to use propane tanks or charcoal. How much can I flip this for?
