Great starter kit. This is similar to what I bought first for the same price, and is very versatile for variety of tasks around the house. Beware though, once you're hooked, you'll soon setup an SD alert for Ryobi and will keep buying 18V line tools every time there's a deal until you have no more space in your garage. Which is pretty much where I am right now, but the urge is still strong.

There is only 18V for this kind of tool line of Ryobi, there are 40V but mostly for lawn equipment, etc. The difference are the amps capacity of each combo you buy this comes with 1.5Ah and 4Ah, if you were to use the saw with the smaller battery it would't last you very long or a whole project, maybe good for the flashlight, depending the power tool you are using you would need a bigger battery or having to wait a full charge or just use your bigger battery 4Ah or upgrade to 6Ah, etc or buy more eventually.

I have this and like it. No idea what the multi-tool is for aside from cutting drywall.
Depending on the attachments - wood and metal too. Hard to reach areas where a reciprocating saw is not an option.

I have a corded dremel that does plenty for me in weird angles that other tools can do, but much easier with the multi-tool.

This deal for this price used to have a brad nailer instead of the multi tool which I bought two Black Fridays ago.

Looks like if you're okay with losing the circular saw and multi-tool, there's a four-piece set with the same batteries for $129.99. 35 for those other tools a piece seems worth it though. Might be different drills too.

I'm hooked on OfferUp Ryobi deals, I have someone locally that gets brand new "refurbished" tools but haven't had any problems with any of his tools yet. I got a brad nailer for $60, usually $100 at the store. But I only get ryobi tools for small wood working or house tightening needs. Other than that I get Milwaukee

Agreed. Very useful especially if your too lazy to get the proper tool and want to risk / test how good your eyes are for "precious" cuts with it 🤣

Dang, this is a great deal. If I didn't already have the saws, I'd have copped this deal in a heartbeat. Ryobi is my go-to now for all my tools. Basically have converted most of my tools over to theirs and have zero regrets.

This deal, more or less at present, has been their main 6 tool deal for a number of events now. I believe it goes back 3+ Black Friday + Ryobi Days with few, if any, changes.

We got it last Black Friday. Been very happy so far. Would brushless be "better"? Sure. As a DIYer though, it isn't like these tools get used much in a session and more than a couple times/month within a year. So for 6 tools vs 2 that are brushless... I'll take my chances gladly.

This, or wait for Ryobi days to start? Been waiting for a cordless reciprocating saw deal.

all Ryobi batteries are 18+, the new tools line are one + HP which are more compact and efficient since all or most are brushless. If you use for work brushless is best for you less maintenance and battery should last you a little more compared to brush 18V One+ like this combo above, but for home or occasional use around this works.
If you wait a hackable deal will eventually come back. I got the brushless version of this kit for $157

is it worth getting the drill bit set for $20 more?

with inflation already here and on the rise, this seems like a good deal.

i was hoping to get brushless, but $200 will only get you a 2 piece combo drill/impact.

with 6 tools, i can do more DIY stuff.
On EBay, you can get the new 4 piece brushless... Drill, impact driver, sawsall, flashlight, 2 batteries and bag for 199.99 shipped. Just bought that myself to upgrade my old blue Ryobi tools.
