Bought these for $110 a few months ago for my receiver and turntable. Sound is good, LOUD, but could use more base. It's a klipsch thing I think. For $70 it's a steal.

Amazing speakers. Got two pairs from costco for $90/pair and thought that was a deal. At $70 a no brainer. I use them as my main front, center and one surround. you Need a powerful sub for bass. The clarity and dialogue is amazing!
I'm on the same boat, and you probably want to do this:

Looking for a better setup for our living room. Was using a cheap soundbar before but it definitely wasn't amazing. I have 4 celing mounted Klipsch speakers the previous owner installed. Would these be too little as mains with a small amp or would I need a center at least? Would love to use the ceiling speakers as well but don't really have the need for a huge 5.1.4 setup there, would likely connect them and use them just for music and these for tv and music...?

Are these better than theater reference speakers?

What's the best way to use this as computer speakers?
The best way is to pass on these and get the Klipsch Promedia instead because they're computer speakers.

A nice price but anyone who intends to use these as front mains should avoid them. Front mains need better specs. EVEN IF THERE'S A SUB IN THE SETUP.

Im assuming these book shelf speakers would not be easily wall mounted? If I wanted front or rear speakers should I find smaller ones that are made to wall mount? Thanks

Are these good as the sub woofer? That's the only thing missing in my surround sound setup

I have owned both before. I found these to be better for listening to music. For home theatre they both will do a good job. Pioneer were good for modern music. My vote goes to these but pioneer will not disappoint. If you listen to classical music, definitely get these. If you don't, it doesn't matter which ones you pick. Sound signature and stage is different but they both are enjoyable.

It's interesting to hear multiple people comment the same thing. I've got a set of the Pioneer Andrew Jones left/right and centers I haven't even listened to sitting off to the side in my living room that I'm selling. I see them all over eBay and Facebook marketplace for cheap and wouldn't have guessed they would hold their own against these Klipsch. If I hadn't already committed to selling them to a guy tomorrow, I might have taken more time to play with them. Guess I'll go hook them up and play with them for a bit tonight just for funsies.
Appreciate the insight!

It shows Amazon as seller and still didn't work.

These are powered speakers. Andrew Jones are passive (not powered)
Edit, never mind. Thought these were the powered ones... I personally think these would be better. I got the previous gen and I still have them and love them. Not even as surrounds. They're my main left and right channel speakers
They are not powered. I don't think they do make powered surround sound speakers. I have them and they work great.
